I would know. Most of mine were for the dumbest reasons. I explained it above.

That's fine but you can't just go off of personal experience.

If that were so, France would be thinking winning a war is also impossible.

Several as a kid... But only one as an "adult". It was one-punch, my fist caught his lip as his head swayed back attempting to dodge, which ripped his lip through his canine tooth and followed through into the base of his nose... There was blood everywhere. He ran, I ran, he went to the ER... Several stitches.

Not particularly proud of it, but most of the damage was his fault for dodging like a retard. There was a VERY legitamate reasonfor the fight, trust me.

Objection

I've been in a few, very brief fights if we exclude stuff like scraps in elementary. Ex: One was basically a lightning punch from your truly in the stomach of a certain horrible person (guy) at lunch and there being no incriminating witnesses. I'd rather put someone down with words and get them to look at their self rather than use actual violence, but, being in martial arts, I could probably do either if need be (unless they were significantly larger or better armed .)

Oh right.

Well in my school there were the kids that were screwed with on a regular basis, and there were those that weren't screwed with because they stood up for themselves.

If you didn't let people screw around with you, you earned respect. That's how it worked in my town.

But there was a time in a bowling alley, where my younger brother was being picked on by an older kid, who wanted to take over the game my bro was playing, he started mouthing off... anyway, I came up to him, talked about it first, "leave him alone" etc.. he didn't, got in my face, then I uppercutted him and it seemed like he went flying back, hit his head on the air hockey table and had a bloody nose.

See now that's a good story.

Good job sticking up for your brother.

@SSB at least u admit u lost xD
For me, ive been in a ton as a youngster but now in high school ive toned down on it and only do an occassional sparring/ufc/wrestling match in the locker room (no face shots type of stuff). When i was young, i can remember winning a lot (mainly because i started a ton xD and was a very hyper child) but in high school, to be honest since theres no face shots ( I like boxing so that really handicaps me when i cant do it) and im not the best monkey fighter, ill admit a lot of the older grade people can take me down since im a ton smaller than them, but when it comes to guys in my class, i can probably take maybe 25 out of our 30 boys in a full on match

edit great thing for me is that even though im not popular, i have a small group of pretty tough friends that would back me up anyday in a fight, so even though im unpopular, not many people mess with me or would want to in a real fight, ufc crashmat fights are always still a go though lol

Never Fighting should only be used though for defense only & should only be a last option for fixing a problem. Besides when people fight they tense up getting all power to just certain Parts Strength isn't the key The Technique is if the Technique is good you have the advantage Strength Never wins unless your calm & relaxed. but most Fighters just go all out thats the worst way if your calm you have the advantage always.

I think its a given, anyone would stick up for their fam, if you wouldn't then theres a problem. Ill admit even though i dont have the greatest relationship with my parents if someone messed with them id box em out in a heartbeat, its just how it is. For me its even more true because my family consists of fairly weak people lol, i actually chose to box because i wanted to break that image xD

You're right, technique is great but depending on how much strength there is, strength can be a devastating factor in a fight. pit some super good 5'5 martial artist like my friend against say... a 6'2 brock lesnar type guy over 250 pounds with little technique but a lot of raw power...and then ask yourself who would win. Sure technique is there, but if that power man hits u hard, u will be stunned and then he will wale on you lol.
To add to your point though, i find endurance can really be a deciding factor, if you can go longer without getting tired, and your opponent begins tiring, they are much more susceptible to collapsing sooner or giving in sooner.

You are right though, fighting is not a good answer, but fighting is something you need to try and be prepared/know how to do because some people don't care if you say you dont want to fight, theyre still gonna hit you lol

I used to get bullied at school back when I was a kid. One day I got fed up with it and I pushed a bully down on the ground. Then the bully did the same thing to me. That was the end of the fight. I also got homeschooled after 3rd grade (for different reasons). I do not like fighting at all, but I will fight if it is unavoidable.

Plenty....I was quite the troublestarter as a kid. Only lost one though, and that was me getting jumped outside of class by some kids who, admittedly, had the right given my conduct at a social engagement in the weeks prior.

Never picked on though...just thought I had a lot to prove I guess. It's like a light went on the day I turned 18 and the whole thing just kinda seemed pointless.

But Power Also has weaknesses it slows the thrower down the more strength/power they use each punch kick etc. Causing them to use more energy they have to use trying to hit there opponent. So Speed is everything like an old saying "The Bigger they are The harder they fall". They can be as strong and Sturdy as a Tree Trunk but there not invincible theres a way to chop them down to your level. Of Course not trying to start anything just going by that theres more than one way to win without Brute Force..

well once a while back but it was pretty stupid. ok ok i know you want to hear:
so i was walking away after a hard day. i had like 4 hours of sleep the night before so i was really irritable. suddenly my friend just snuck up behind me and went "RAH!!!" and scared the heck out of me. so i got all ticked off and slammed my fist into his back (kind of how you would use a flail) and hes like "HA! that didnt hurt." so i just got more angry and flailed him harder. this was like the first time my friend actually admitted that something hurt him (he doesnt like admitting things hurt sometimes). then i shoved him down and he grabbed my ankle and tripped me and we did that standard "roll all over punching each other" thing. halfway through i realized that my friend took karate like 3 days a week and basically i got totally crushed. But luckily my teacher found us and sent us to the principals office.

my cousin is always wanting to try to take you down for no reason. im a semi pacifist. so i just like tell him stop tackling me but when he doesnt i just throw him off to show i can crush him if he wants me too

im actually stronger than i admit, look-like and other people think

A war is basically a fight of bigger proportions. And wars end, as do fights.

The United States and Germany stopped fighting more than half a century ago. Someone won.

Aren't you forgetting some other countries involved?

I've been in one fight in 3rd grade. I got into a fight with a friend of mine and he punched me in the eye so ard, my eyelid became deformed (it's a little bit bigger and redder than my other one) but nobody ever realy wins a school fight. I just punched him back in the stomach than a teacher broke it up.

I named the important one.

How many countries are there besides the great US of A anyway?

I just remember most places like this:
