it's not laziness, it's because they don't want to tick off someone Iwata hangs out with on a regular basis. it's an indirect form of sucking up to the man himself... think of it as diplomatic immunity for CB.

No, though I did get put on "ignore" on Eurogamer (not a banning, but it prevents your posts being visible to others). This was due to the less than evenhanded moderation in effect during a bit of flamewar in the Wii threads (you must prepare for battle to post positively about the Wii there!). I didn't realise what had happened at first, then when I did I deleted my account (for the second time), but people convinced me to come back so I did. Now I post very very rarely there.
When I did my account suicide on Gamespot....I posted at least 3 pages of **** in the off topic section......I was completely shocked they let it go on for so long before kicking me out.
