About twenty years ago, I found myself craving the first Shredder action figure from the PlayMates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. His helmet and blades were blue, his mask looked like a purple cloth, he was shirtless with no nipples and hunched over with the outline of his backbone clearly visible. Compared to his cartoon counterpart, he was pathetic. And yet when I saw him on the back of a package card for another figure (probably Raphael), I knew I had to have him ... and it damn-near took forever for me to find him. Since then, I've had to replace him twice because he kept breaking. The third one isn't missing any limbs, but some of the knife-armor is missing. I don't know where my re-painted "toon" Shredder figure is, but last time I saw it, it was in good condition. Ironically, I've also had hard times finding Karai's figures. I even had to resort to shelling out $20 for the cartoon one.
I have a Xenomorph action figure that I got when I was in Florida and some Spawn action figure dude with 6 crazy arms, I had to have it, got it in Toronto.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
Way too many, most of them being WCW wrestlers Jakks Pacific made in the mid-90s...

I wanted this more than anything when I was a kid and my mom didn't get it for me. It was because of that one incident that I felt I had a very deprived childhood although as an adult, looking back, I had quite a lot.
I found this about a year or two back and bought it the moment I saw it.
It felt good buying it. I showed my mom when I got home and she stated something along the lines of, "My gosh, you're an adult now and you still play with toys?" To which I jokingly blamed her as the cause of my deprived childhood. It was fun, but also kinda like closing a chapter on an unresolved childhood issue. =D
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
