Topic: Has a game developer/company ever listened to you?

I know every developer and company like nintendo and next level games always have this area where they say, "if you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback, email us at ______". I actually do email these guys occasionally but I think out of maybe 12 emails that i've sent to a developing company, ive only got 1 reply from some actually generous nintendo employee regarding a question i had about the ranking system in prime hunters on ds (never knew how sometimes from losing i went down 26 points and winning i went up 2 points). Just wondering, have any of you guys have emailed/tried to contact a company and have actually gotten a useful/serious response outside of phoning for a repair?

I have emailed requests about The Grinder to High Voltage Software, and they responded back and took my requests seriously.

I asked Sega to look into the future for a 2D Sonic Game that was a month ago no response... I want a 2D Tails Game he could be just as cool as Sonic

The first time they respond, they took a few weeks. But, I think they were considering my ideas during that time. The second time they respond, it was either on the same or next day after I sent them my second email.
I need to send them more suggestions soon...

I love for Nintendo and sega make a crossover game where their characters fight! Nintendo Smash Bros vs Sega Allstars would be awesome. I have not emailed anyone about it, however.

Yeah, I emailed XSEED to thank them for porting Retro Game Challenge and to give my opinion on why they should bring the sequel over as well and to let them know I really wanted that game ported to English. They replied and I posted it all on a Forum here. Next thing I know it was on the home page here on NL, then XSEED was doin a press conference stating if they sold 100,000 units all together they would bring the sequel to US shores. Apparently ALOT of us have emailed in and YES it does do a LOT to tell a company that developed a game thanks.

Yes. Thanks to my blog I've also had developers contact me to thank me for reviews! It's all fun.

Gaijin Games was really open to having an email-based discussion with me after Beat came out. (I initiated it, obviously...they didn't seek out The Legendary Chicken Brutus. ) But it was great. Not only did it give me a chance to share my concerns (all minor) but it was satisfying to be able to speak my appreciation for a great game directly to the person that made it. That was awesome.

Also, they're really nice guys.

Anyway, the question was whether or not they listened to me, and I'll say, yes, they did. See, I told them to make Core a good game, and they did! Who knows what you would have ended up with if I hadn't suggested that!

Yes, they have. Maybe, but it makes me feel good that they maybe heard my idea.

I've never actually emailed any devs or anything. I'd like to email Nintendo or something about making a ReacTogon DS game.

I got news, i just got an email reply from next level games, making them the 2nd dev after nintendo to have emailed me back. I must say the next level game response was much more detailed and related to my original message, i really am happy they have taken my suggestions
