Topic: Hardest Zelda Temple?

OK, I know everyone is going to say the Water Temple from OoT, and that's the same for me. But a second goes to either the Lakebed Temple or the Snow Temple because of those blocks you have to push around to get on the buttons. That took me ages to figure out. Those two for second are from Twilight Princess.

Water Temle from OoT is not only hard as it requires intense conceptulisation of 3D space, but the slow swimming and Iron Boot swapping/walking just make it a chore. Lakebed Temple from Twilight Princess isnt as bad but the constant messing of rotating the ventral staircase to acces different doors and alter the water flow was a bit of a pain.

Well, the Water Temple is pain, but in Master Quest, it's somewhat easier.

Well, as to the whole "Water Temple is horrible" situation, one can't really say that the Water Temple was horrible. It had to do more with game mechanics than the actually Temple itself.

Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar.

Second temple of Zelda II. God I suck. D:

Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Toon_Link

The Temple of the Ocean King from PH, if that counts.
Second would be the Water Temple from OoT.

wtf??? the water temple in OoT??? com'on that was the easiest temple in that game.... now the Water Temple in Master Quest on the other hand... that one is hard...

but the hardest temple would definatly be the last temple in Zelda II: Adveture of Link.
Dark Link was freakkin hard!!!

Probably the one temple in ALttP where you get the fire rod.

I didn't find the water temple that hard in Ocarina of Time. I, however, got lost in the Shadow temple in Ocarina of Time and couldn't figure out how to get to the boss.

And nobody mentioned Death Mountain (level 9) in the original The Legend of Zelda? I found it pretty difficult, especially if you haven't found the magical key.

The Dark Palace in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, followed by Ganon's Tower in the same game. I think Shadow Temple in Ocarina of Time is also a pretty good contender for this spot.

EDIT: Why exactly did so many people find the Water Palace so hard? I mean, it was definitely a pain, I certainly liked it. The ones after it were way harder, IMO.

Too many rooms surrounding a central room. Tedious and time-consuming

That's what made it a pain(that and Shadow Link, provided I'm not thinking of another dungeon), but I fail to see how that makes it harder than any other.

Well, actually almost every dungeon in that game is harder than in any other Zelda. Good gracious, what a tough bastard that game is.

Really? WT in Master Quest is easier than the one in the regular OoT to me.

It's ok, all the cool ambiguously gendered kids can't beat it.

water temple Ocarina of time is hard and the stone tower temple of Majora's Mask is hard to.

practise my stabbing!!

Digiki

I hear Jabu Jabu in Ages is a gigantic pain.

The hardest for me might be the Forsaken Fortress in WW, not because it's hard but because it's so terrible
