Topic: Hardest Levels in Gaming?

What levels (NOT bosses) in any game struck you out as particularly hard/frustrating? Some examples of mine:
Mega Man 1: Wily Fortress
Super Mario Bros. 3: The Entirerty of World 8
Sonic 2: Wing Fortress Zone

BattleToads go karts level, think it was level 3.

The Perfect Run (SMG2)
9-7 (NSMBWii)
Pump Man (MM10)

You should try the last few levels of the game, the cart level is nothing but memorizing the level and timing!

It may not be particularly hard, but the Water Temple (I know it's not really a level) in OoT was confusing.

Wasn't there a level in one of the NES Ninja Gaiden games that was literally impossible to complete without exploiting a glitch? That one gets my vote.

Interesting. I'm still plaing through SMG2 and NSMBW but haven't played those "difficult" levels yet. I agree the Battletoads level with the speeders was really hard though it's been years since i played that level (Played the first level a few days ago though).

The Eternal Tower in Phantasy Star Zero. It's actually not that hard, but it's freaking LONG. Almost 600 rooms of hostiles.

The Fire Temple in Spelunker Mode on 3D Dot Game Heroes.

Surprised no ones said a level in Metroid Prime IDK what one would Hardest.

Act 2 of Carnival Night Zone from Sonic 3. Those barrels really annoyed me. That is, until I realized that I had to press up and down to control the barrels.

Surprisingly, both yoshi's island games have some really hard levels, including a flash in the dark from Yoshi's island ds,

Hardest level was any case in Apollo Justice that featured Klavier Gavin as the prosecutor.

Nope, I can beat the whole game really quickly and I dont know of any glitches. You are prob thinking about in the second level at the part where the crazy witch women are on the top of the grew columns and throw crosses at you with the military guys running at you as well. Lots of people stop there, but slashing halfway through the jump so that the blade hits first will get you right through it.

@slapshot: Actually, I think it was in the second game. I'm pretty certain there's a level like that.
