Ah, Nintendolife. That's the first time I've called it by that name. Every time I go to this site, I've always just typed in vc-reviews or clicked my vc-reviews bookmark. I've been a member for the last 22 months, since January 2008. It's been decent. I never posted here much.
I just popped up again recently, on a whim. I've decided that I don't really care for this site. I've found little good in posting on the forums here, and my original purpose for coming here was already satisfied long ago. My contributions here have been largely worthless, and I am a man adamantly opposed to wasting time without due purpose. The appeal of posting here has interfered with approximately 6 hours of my physical and mental training exercises since my return.
I have already left several forums this year, and have decided this week that several more, including this site, would join this list. As well, I never gained any level of respect in this community, so I have no attachment whatsoever to this place. Therefore, at the risk of possibly regaining interest in returning for whatever reason, I will be leaving this community to prevent further distraction from my training. I have already reached the quota of my New Year's Resolution, but feel I should have been much stricter, and considerably less lax, in accomplishing my goals.
I more than likely won't be returning, and I won't be missed, but I felt it necessary to make my leave official. I've only felt mildly insulted during my time here, with surprisingly very few enemies I will be leaving. I never made any friends here, but I did leave a few helpful posts, as well as a few anonymous contributions and Wii Shop gifts. I was never fond enough of this site to hold any of my contests here. On that note, I will be eliminating most of my recent traces here, and killing my account within the week.
If, for some odd reason, you have anything unfinished you wish to say to me, go ahead and do it now. If you have any general questions or problems, related to gaming or not, I will read whatever you have to say and consider answering them before I take my leave.
Too true. I am left confused by these kind of threads too. I noticed you posting here only recently, PuppetMaster, but I think you did add to the community, and I don't remember you making any "enemies". Well, have fun with your "physical activity" or whatever it is you plan on doing.
Posting on forums doesn't earn any respect. The whole reward for doing it is getting to express your opinions. There's no trophy or legions of screaming fans. Fare-thee-well fellow traveller and may your path be filled with stuff and junk. EDIT: AlexSays are you disrepecting Happy Feet? I know Dreamworks aren't the best studio but Happy Feet was absolutely brilliant.

This "parting gift" is a sort of tradition. As part of my training, I perform constant research on as much material as I physically can without reaching fatigue, and have heard many stories from people who can't tell stories anymore. I have a good degree of obscure, and sometimes forgotten knowledge. I suppose with the likes of Wikipedia and our fast-paced world, such people are difficult to respect. I'm not prolonging my time here. I'm simply going through my previous messages and deleting them, and making sure I recognize anybody who responded to me should they post here.

I can see where I rank here, with people willing to immediately respond with this sort of garbage, and this is precisely why I have no reason to stay here. I promise you I will be leaving. Nothing you can do will make me stay. Not even the brutal hatred you have inspired in me just now will affect that.
Yes, being here is a waste of time. Attempting to communicate with a creature such as you is an even greater waste. Nearly everything you do in life is a waste. Even gaming is a waste. However, I cannot train 24/7, as I am merely human, and I have diverse interest, of which gaming is a significant one. I never said that this site was a waste, and wish the best of luck to those who contribute to this community and make this page worth visiting for most of you.

To grenworthshero, your closing sentence seems to have a condescending tone. In today's world, many people are disgustingly sedentary and uneducated. School is an insufficient form of education. To be comfortable in your existence, to never feel weak, to be able to live without worrying that your body with quickly rot away like a useless husk, this is the meaning of my training. The difference between mere "exercise" and "training" is that training is much stricter and requires the development of incredible willpower. The sort of willpower that makes you truly human, not like the sad sacks who can't get themselves off of a couch immediately upon deciding to. Physical prowess is needed to built a strong mind, and a strong mind can lead to many doors.
To FATEM, I didn't come here for respect. I came as an alternative to other forums, and to help bring in more members, as one person did when they suggested I come here to begin with. I've decided I've tired of it, as I have earned respect on other forums, two of which I more heavily contribute to, and one of which I have administrative privileges as one of the admins, and seven of which I have held numerous prize-bearing contests and competitions, though many are not related to gaming. I am leaving because I don't have enough respect to have reason to prevent leaving, and my time dictates that I further minimize the communities I take part in.
Oh, and to Corbie. Thanks for being the most active member of this site. You are one of the reasons I came here to begin with.

I'm editing this after the thread's been locked to say, I meant you no harm or anything PuppetMaster. I really did think you were kind of a cool addition to the "community". You have to realize AlexSays is always that blunt, you have to take what he says lightly. I wish you love, and all that jazz.
I'm sorry to see you leave PuppetMasterKuruku, but even more sorry that some of our established members felt it necessary to respond with such a lack of civility and general decency. Guys, just because someone's leaving doesn't give you free reign to insult them - get your heads screwed on right.
