I remember when I joined Nintendo Life I wrote that I was disappointed with Nintendo's recent products and decisions and some people got mad at me. I'd like to know your opinion about discussing and how difficult it is to do it on forums because people aren't afraid of being recognised or they live far away and therefore they can be really rude because they don't give a... I try to be coherent and I prefer a critic person than a die-hard fan that says that everything that Nintendo does is perfectly fine. However, it's true that there are many spoiled fans, but there are also dictators and insufferable people among Nintendo fans, that hate you just because you said that you didn't like a game or you disagree about what Zelda or Mario game is better. Fortunately, there are also interesting and respectful people among them and even people that say I'm sorry which is almost impossible to read on the Internet nowadays (but I read it today). There are people also expecting you to start every sentence with "In my opinion" when it's evident that what I write is my opinion. That's very annoying!

I'll start talking about a few games. I was impressed by Splatoon the first time it was shown but I don't really dig the final game, I think it's because it's repetitive and there's zero cooperation online. I have been asking for Majora's Mask remake since Ocarina of Time 3D was released and now I'm very grateful for it and its new quests even though both of them were separate pricey releases. When Super Mario Sunshine was released, most people complained about it but it was and still is my favourite 3D Mario game although I suffered because of those blue coins. It had great art, a lot of freedom and exploration and I miss that in Super Mario 3D Land and Super Mario 3D World, which are a joke compared to Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine (...in my opinion LOL).

When The Wind Waker was announced, almost everybody was disappointed by its visuals, yet what slightly disappointed me was the game itself. It had a big boring world and a few great dungeons but generally it lacked substance. When Star Fox Adventures was released, it met lukewarm reception because it was too different but I loved it, and I liked it more than Star Fox 64, but that's probably because it was a polished adventure and I love that.

And now I'd talk about online gaming, which is something that makes me sad at the moment. I had a really great time playing Monster Hunter 3 (Wii) online, it was one of my best gaming experiences ever. However, when playing recent games online on Nintendo consoles, let's say Splatoon, Mario Kart 8, Monster Hunter 4 or the Triforce Heroes trial, all I meet are trolls or people that act randomly, don't cooperate, they drop whenever they want, they don't communicate, they don't make it fun any more. Why?? I really miss the Monster Hunter 3 days where I found cooperation, respect, communication and a lot of fun.

And now you can tell me that you don't agree or whatever you want... Tell us your experiences and how you deal with online discussing and online gaming. What games have disappointed you recently? How do you like the new Nintendo? What are your expectations for the future?

I really don't like the navigation bar of Nintendo Life continuously reappearing while browsing!!
