Gamestop doesn't even sell their current gen used games CIB, so I doubt they'd sell retro ones CIB. I'm not that interested in cart only games. But this will be great for people who don't care about boxes or manuals, as long as the prices are reasonable.
They probably also collected too much old stuff or need more business. I'd say "why?" but even if I post my logic behind why I think we don't need it, it doesn't matter, they'll trick someone into buying a $155 crusted N64 because "it's retro"
Sometimes when I go into the GameStop near me they talk about how they have original SNES controllers, GBAs of all kinds, original DS systems, and a bunch of random carts that they can sell stored in the back but only via online, but that the stuff is nearly unsearchable on their website. So I asked why you technically can't just come in and ask for it right now and the two, seemingly very knowledgeable employees, don't know what it's about either. They've been mentioning this on and off for a few years so their collection isn't even new for this program they're doing. One time I did see someone come in and get a really crusty yellowed out SNES controller though for $13ish.
