We have the Games you Recently Beat thread, but not this, so I started it. Basically just say what games you have started and how you feel about them. It doesn't have to be the first time you have played the game (although it can be), just as long as you have started playing it after having not played it for some time. For example, I don't feel that playing Mario Kart 8 after having not played it for a month would count, but after a year would. Or if you have started another play through of A Link Between Worlds, I feel that would count. It's really up to your own judgment if it belongs here.

Ys: The Oath in Felghana its is sooooo good right now.

Capcom at E3: Guys we're sorry about how we've been treating Mega Man so we're gonna make it up to you by releasing the Mega Man Cancelled Collection with all the titles we cancelled in the condition they we're in just before we pulled the plug. Now who wants Street Fighter X Monster Hunter?

Started a new Road to the Show career on MLB 13: The Show as a starting pitcher.
Currently in Triple-A, playing for the Memphis Redbirds.

I've played RTTS many times before, so I know it can get pretty addicting. Never played RTTS as a pitcher before though. It's alright so far.

Anyway, I have started playing Tales of the Abyss for the 3DS, Shin Megami Tensei for iOS, and Bulba the Cat for iOS.
It took me awhile to get into Tales of the Abyss, but once I did, I really enjoyed it.
I still haven't really gotten into Shin Megami Tensei. It's so vague.
Bulba the Cat is my favorite original iOS game. It's a platformer where you are always jumping, but the level design is phenomenal .

I recently started playing Metroid Fusion. While I like it better than the Prime games, I don't like it as much as either Super Metroid or Other M. Perhaps it's simply because the game was built for the GBA, but the areas all feel relatively tiny compared to other games in the series.

I recently re-started final fantasy III, this time with the intention of actually completing the game. I have way too many half finshed/unplayed games.

I've recently started buying back/up some GBA titles to enjoy. I lucked into a copy of Qwak, an amiga game port which only 300 copies were made by the original creator and it's fantastic. A total classic earlier 90s arcade/action style stage based platformer collecting various gems, power ups, fruits, and keys to clear the stage. It's kind of drawn in a colorful poppy way like bubble bobble 2 was done in.

I haven't touched in a very very long time castlevania circle of the moon and that's another game, one I used to own, and it has aged pretty nicely. I picked up a stack of things the last few weeks from FF5 and 6A (5 still sealed until I decide to play it), Kurukuru Kuruin(pal ver), Bomberman1+2 Famicom Hudson Collection vol1, Car Battler Joe (fantastic unique game), and various others.

I also recently entered buying into the world of famicom games and I've picked off a lot of the quality stuff Konami released among various other titles.

Just downloaded Picross e2!

I'm not usually big into puzzlers, but I fell in love with Picross after getting Mario's Picross through Club Nintendo a couple years ago. Once I beat that, I got Picross e last year, and now Picross e2.

I've only done the first five puzzles so far. Should be nice and relaxing after coming off of Urban Trials Freestyle (which had some quite challenging platforming).

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Zizzy

Just started playing Professor Layton games. I'm about 5 puzzles into The Curious Village and I'm loving it!

I finally started on GTA5.

Didn't play enough to have an opinion, but the large variety of music makes me pretty happy.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

Bought Samurai Warriors 3 a while back, because it was on sale for $6 at EB Games.
It was a pretty great deal. I've always liked Beat em' Ups, and SW3 has some great gameplay. I was warned that button mashing is required, but as a fan of Final Fight, the idea wasn't new to me. However, there is strategy and quick thinking involved so it isn't very repetitious at this moment.
Its also great to play this now, to anticipate the upcoming Hyrule Warriors, which I'll likely be picking up.

Started Super Mario 3D World a little over a week ago. It's... amazing. My favorite Mario game since Galaxy. Although I fail to understand why the control options for NSMBU are so awkward and limited (seriously, you can't even use a sideways Wiimote and a GamePad for two-person play!), but you can play SM3DW, which obviously has a more complex control scheme, with pretty much anything.

I got Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate from the Mario Kart promotion last week, and I'm loving it so far! Going to be playing that along with Earthbound for a very long time. I did have it before on 3DS, but the 3DS's smaller screen along with the Circle Pad Pro being pretty much required made me play only a couple of hours, but I've already clocked over 20 hours on the Wii U version with those problems being eliminated.

Monster Hunter will claim your soul, just like the rest of us!! XD

I just started Senran Kagura and The Wonderful 101, so far so good. I also bought, but haven't played, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. I assume everything that I have currently will tide me over until Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta, and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

I got the random Urge to start The Dark Spire, which had been sitting on my desk for years. I'm really getting into it now, though. Very good Wizardry clone. Tougher than Etrian Odyssey, but yet more forgiving than an actual Wizardry game. Just the right median if you ask me.
