Kid Icarus Uprising might be in that category, I don't really remember it being a common theme on the 3DS/DS for games to use the touchscreen and the buttons at the same time like that.

They worked well at times but even as someone who really liked motion controls, I'll say they also felt awkward at times in that game.

  • Basically most Nintendo handheld or touch pad puzzle games.
  • Driving games and even games like Sonic and the Lost Rings used the Wii-Remote to steer.
