All old famicom JRPGs ever. Really high encounter rates, combined with really low XP,drops and grinding = screw DQ1.
I played the original Final Fantasy again a couple of years ago, I have no idea how anyone tolerated that, let alone Dragon Quest.
Eh, it was new at the time. Which reminds of when of I played Ultima 3, which has aged worse. Atleast FF and DQ1 were simpler to play due to streamlined controls. Seriously, what joker thought it was a great idea to package the GOG download without some kind of help file. In a game so seriously complicated that newbs will have no idea how to play the frigging thing without an FAQ. Not even conversation with NPCs are simple! Without some kind of help, how would you know that they only respond to certain key words like "name" and "occupation"?
How can you honestly say Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time?!
Most of the early 3D games haven't aged well; low polygon count, combined with the usual inaccurate hitboxes, and not so perfect controls. That doesn't mean they aren't great games however, they just have their problems compared to newer games.
I love those games but I'll agree to a point. Especially OOT. The control in Wind Waker is so much better its crazy.
Wind Waker is amazing, it's still a beautiful game today. It was ahead of its time back then, both visually, and gameplay-wise. I'm still surprised they managed pull that off on a GameCube.
@Kaze_Memaryu - Kirby's Adventure was for the NES, not Game Boy.

All the Mario Party games after 3. It's amazing how got worse and worse. Don't even mention about Island Tour shivers (That game was horrible, seriously.)
That's not poor aging, that's just seasonal rot. Now if you had said Mario Party 1 on the other hand, that's more on topic.
On a side-note: Island Tour could of been worse, it could of been Advance.
Sometimes I feel like I am the only one on the planet who enjoyed Mario Party Advance. xD ...but I was a kid who hadn't experienced too many video games yet when I played it. xD
