Do something enough and your body will compensate for it. I've got a nice big lump of a callus on my right middle finger because I draw and write quite a bit, and I've also got a weird callus on my wrist due to the way i pop boxes open at job#1. If you truly play video games enough, that might be why your thumbs are different, Birdman, though it'd probably be more likely that tennis was what caused the differences in your hands due to the strain it puts on them during play (much more forceful than reaching for a D-pad or an analog stick :3)

My thumbs have been naturally weird since I was born, and they bend backwards almost to 90 degrees (so it looks like I'm freakishly double jointed). It's influenced the way I play most videogames, that's for sure.

When I put my left hand on the keyboard, it almost always goes into the "WASD" shape haha. I also press the up arrow key with the tip of my third finger, and the down arrow key with the middle of my third finger, meaning it's a little more rigid than my other ones D:

That's called "Hitchhiker's thumb" and it is a recessive (not very common) trait. That's genetic

I also have it

Wow is that real? I'm sure that's just some stock photo of someone with polydactyly, but if that's yours then whoa, no offence. I can't imagine what it would be like to have no opposable thumb.

yeah it helped back in the day when games like street fighter 2 and mortal kombat came out in arcades with all those buttons, no one could stop me.
but now everyone just makes jokes about a "6 finger discount" instead of a "5 finger discount", or they call me edward sixer-hands.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
