I made a thread like this before but I felt like deleting that one and starting fresh.
My idea is the Nintendo HDS, a portable high-definition steroscophic 3D handheld! It'll be Nintendo's second high-definition console, and will feature stereoscophic 3D like the 3DS, dual analog sticks, and two touch screens: the top and bottom screens! It'll also have a rear touch pad like the PS Vita, as well as cameras, built in microphone, and an optional stylus! The appearance is similar to a Gameboy Advance with a slide out bottom screen, similar to a slide out keyboard on a cell phone, except bigger. Since both screens are touch screens, games will be more interactive. Launch games will include New Super Mario Bros. 3, the fifth installment to the New Super Mario Bros. series, where you touch the land to reveal hidden paths, coins, beanstalks, and pipes, and will have Local and Online 4-player co-op, Mii Adventures: Mii On the Move, an adventure game starring... you! The game with have gameplay similar to Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, and combine elements from all of Nintendo's key franchises (Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, etc.), AR Colection, a large collection of mini-games using the HDS's advanced AR capabilites, with mini-games like AR Ball Bounce, a gam where you use the tile sensor to bounce the ball to the goal, AR PLatform, a game where you go through 16 platforming games starring your Mii, and more like AR Space SHooter, AR Go-Karts, AR Bakery, and more! The best part is, it all takes place at your very surroundings, and you don't even need to use AR cards: you can take a picture and play those games in your surroundings! Those aren't the only launch games; there will be many other HDS launch titles by third party companies! The HDS eShop will be there day one, with Balloon Trip Touch, an all-new Balloon Trip game that will take full advantage of the HDS's capabilites, and other third-party HDS eShop launch titles, including full retail games. You can download System Transfer (transfer data from 3DS to HDS or from HDS to another HDS), YouTube, Netflix, and Cross-play (play Wii U games on HDS and vice versa). There will also be launch day Virtual Cosnole titles: consisting of NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS titles. The launch Virtual Console titles include the entire library of 3DS VC NES, GB, and GBC titles, and Super Mario Advance 3, Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland, Super Mario 64 DS, Metroid Prime Hunters, Pokemon Black and White, New Super Mario Bros., and the whole catalog of 3DS retail downloads! (3DS won't be considered Virtual Console; it'll be backwards compatible with 3DS retail and download games.) The entire 3DS Ware catalog will be available day one as well as retail downoads, digital-only, and Virtual Console titles, and Game Cards of course. Nintendo HDS, Nintendo's next portable system, will come out in Spring 2016 at $179.99 dollars, with 3DS price being slashed to $109.99 dollars and 3DS XL being $129.99 dollars.

I'd like a Game Boy Pro,as It would REMAKE ALL GBA,GBC,AND GB GAMES IN HD.
Not only that but have Swapnote built-in.
Then there's 3DS and DS Backwards-Compatibillity...
And THEN a 3DS Transfer Tool on The Left Side of The System.

Sega Dreamcast 2...wait...I dont even want to start this because I will become depressed...

I want a Nintendo system where I could enter the game, run around in Mario's world and ride Yoshi's into space, battle Ganon and save Zelda in Hyrule, become the Pokemon master and be able to pet my Pikachu (and feel it's fur) in the Pokemon world, have a Metroid suck out my life enegry while I blast it with a missile in the Metroid world, enter the boxing ring and defeat a giant hippo, while my trainer tell's me his favorite kind of flower in Punch-out's world, that kind of stuff.

They are now developing screens that could get you one step closer to that kind of experience . . by sending electronic pulses to artificially stimulate your nerv....

A DualShock controller that really shocks you when you take damage in game. They can already do it in old arcade consoles, why not home consoles? Rumble is for babies.

The Nintendo Wave Diamond. A UHD console that will compete with the Playstation 5 and the Xbox 1080. It will not feature a Game Pad like the Wii U but instead will have the option to stream Wii U style with the HDS, and the controller will have a smaller touch screen. You'll also be able to use the Wii U Game Pad for backwards compatibility on Wii U Mode while all Wiiware downloaded on the Wii U will be transferred to the new OS's menu. One of the launch will include Diamond Super Mario Bros. which is also the first Mario game to include a level editor. The Virtual Console will have NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wiiware, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, DS and DSiware titles that will transfer between HDS and the Wave Diamond. It will launch in November 2018.

@MultiMariosonic I think 2017 is more likely for the HDS.

RG standing for retrogen and it should be a virtual reality with gamesakes idea of the dualshock to implement an option to shock instead of rumble it would have nes snes n64 gb gbcolor gba ds and 3ds games the nes snes n64 gb gbcolor and gba games would be downloadable and the ds and 3ds would be using the games cartridges and it could also have wii games and all the most popular titles would be remade with hd graphics and better controls and make it in 3d specifically made for the NRG so some have an option for motion controls and there could be all virtuaboy games remade for this wireless controllers and portable WI-FI would be optional and this is made in a small headband like system that is slim and goes over your eyes with options to use other controllers from other consoles and this would have a nice sega and snes type controller with the rumble compatible aswell and expansion packs for all the remade games like smb1 smb2 or smb3 and for old like platformers like megaman 1-10 or smb or smw there should be a builder option for it and the expansion packs would be universal so that others can edit share or use them so for old platformers there is limitless fun with old style platformers and it could have augmented reality for the special add ons for the system and for all the remade games it could have a first person option and it also could have a mindset copatible like one from mindtechnologies and if u dont believe me check mindtechnologies on google and lastly there could be similar ones for handhelds and consoles for on the go or nostalgic gamers

Why not make a console system and put a Screen on top and make it where it can charge?

@RancidVomit86 I came to this thread to suggest that exact thing. That someone else wants it too make it even more depressing.

For a long time, I've envisioned a DS where both screens are touchscreens, since I actually expected that when I first played a DS Lite. When I learned that feature didn't exist, I was disappointed. The idea stuck in my head for about 7 years...
