It's simple. Parasite Eve is one of my all time favorite franchises, and I don't own a PSP. I'm not knocking the game, it looks incredible. Seems to be a similar combat system to the 2nd game, which I liked a lot more than the 1st mostly for that reason. Stopping myself from rambling, it looks perfect for a die hard Parasite Eve fan. And I don't get to play it. WAAAAAAAAAH
Oh, right. I know how you feel. Apparently the Ratchet & Clank series has only been getting better, and I don't have a PS3 to play it on. Sometimes seeing your favorite games move on without you can really hurt in the worst ways.
Zelda. Lost it for me after Ocarina of Time. Before that, it was fine by me - loved Link to the Past, loved Link's Awakening, and OoT blew my mind.
And then every game after that has been a carbon copy. Same characters, same gameplay structure (go to dungeon, get new item. Use new item to kill boss, go to next dungeon), same puzzle concepts (every Zelda game gets more and more predictable, and easier and easier).
And then, when they try and change things up, they come up with a moronic gimmick that makes me want to punch everyone involved in the face. Spirit Tracks? f$(^Y#$ that.
I loathe Zelda with a passion now.
Mario I just grew out of platformers. Simple as that. Loved Mario All Stars, and I can appreciate the 3D games, but they're just not for me.
Pokemon I just compare how Pokemon hasn't changed (the character designs of the monsters themselves have, in fact, become weaker over time), to how Dragon Quest Monsters goes to bigger and better places each time, and I cry a little inside. Pokemon Blue ate most of my youth.
Resident Evil Lost it for me with 4. Look, I don't want a wannabe action game. I want a horror game. I want slow controls, plodding pace and fixed cameras, because I want to be tense when I play a horror game. Capcom did much better with Clock Tower 3 and Haunting Ground in the PS2/ GC era than RE4. RE5 is just pathetic.
Lets see, my youth of spyro, Ratchet and Clank, and Jak and Daxter.
I finally saw how great Nintendo is, in fact if it wernt for SSB, id be here right now bashing all you guys for your pathetic little thing you call a system.... Ha I love those outrageous FanBoys.

So...wait, now that you like Nintendo, you don't like those games anymore?
@ Mickeymac Not in that way but yes I dont like those any more, spyro, because... well its gone the wrong way, Jak didnt like Jak 3 and X, and RaC because, well I just feel that its becoming a war game and I dont like war games, IDK how to put it for RaC

Okay, I see. However, I take it by R&C becoming a war game, you mean Ratchet: Deadlocked? That was sort of a spin-off and the series went back to its old self soon after.
Sonic: There were a lot of reasons why I stopped playing the games from the series. Every EA sports series: Save for the NHL series EA sports games have become boring and redundunt. Crash Bandicoot series: See EA Sports. Phoenix Wright series: Don't get me wrong, I still like the series. I'm just waiting to get back to the courtroom like the first four games. Toontown Online (Don't judge me, I was 9!): Just outgrew it that's all.

Wannabe action game? RE4 has some of the greatest action of any game ever created. You call running from a boulder, getting chased down by chainsaw-wielding villagers, and fighting half-mutant hybrid-monsters "wannabe action"? If so, then your definition for action must be slightly off.
RE4 focused less on fear, and more on gameplay. I admit, you definitely shouldn't buy it if you want a scary game. But if you want a high-action, intense, dark and mysterious thrillride; I completely recommend RE4.

I feel you guys with the Resident Evil thing. I had a lot of fun with RE4. The Mercenaries mode was great, and I loved that you could playthrough with your inventory intact. But I wish they would return to the series' roots at this point. RE5 wasn't bad, it was just predictable and boring. It was like, "Look, it's RE4 with better graphics!" And I hate Wesker with with supernatural powers. lame.
Spyro- the newer games just depress me. Sonic the Hedgehog- I loved Sonic 2 and the Sega Genesis games, but sonic just sucks nowadays. Final Fantasy- I'm not sure how much this counts since I only liked IV and IX, but X and up just seemed ridiculous. Megaman- stopped being interested in after it stopped being a side-scroller.
Donkey Kong Country - anything after SNES wasn't that great, but fingers are crossed for DKC Returns!! Sonic the Hedgehog - anything after Genesis wasn't good, but fingers crossed for Sonic 4! Spyro - didn't like anything after PS1 versions Crash - ditto with spyro Super Monkey Ball - I liked 1 & 2 on Gamecube, but nothing after that really worked for me.
I guess I can put Super Monkey Ball on the list as well for same said reason as above. That's pretty much it though. I love everything I've ever loved still. Oh the Digimon World games...
Phoenix Wright series: Don't get me wrong, I still like the series. I'm just waiting to get back to the courtroom like the first four games.
Well it's just the one game out of five that wasn't so great.
But really, I think the series should just be left alone now. The first 3 games were epic and pretty much had the story totally complete. The fourth was a nice extra set of stories. It's really a story-centric game, and the genius of the first 3 is the overarching backstory (the Feys) was developed throughout all of their cases. They had obviously thought through a continuous story arc right at the start. Once the story arc was done, they had two options really. First was to come up with a new continuous story arc with new main characters (I would have loved that). Second option was to make individual cash-in sequels/spin-offs which sell well because of the known brand... and it looks like they ended up doing the latter. :/ I'd prefer they leave it alone than do that.
The Legend of Zelda - The latest 3 games have been meh at least. I loved WW and before though.
The last 3? I think you miscounted
No. TP, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks
Looking forward to The Conduit 2 and CoD: Black Ops for DS For really cool avatars for a forum, go here! http://callofduty.wikia.com/wiki/Callsigns/Emblems
I still like Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Zelda 1 and 2, and the games Capcom made, but I can't get into the rest of the games anymore, and I just feel like the series lost its magic on me, due to the reasons I stated before - it's gotten too formulaic and the countless "clones" actually improve on the status quo, IMO. (Dark Siders, StarTropics, the Mana series, Alundra, etc.)
