Topic: Game ideas thread

I've seen this specific to certain console threads, but I didn't see a general thread like this, so I figured it was high time to make one.

It's pretty self explanatory. Post interesting game ideas you have had.

1. A City Builder game that is optimized to show fundamental principles of different political philosophies. This wouldn't be a kid's "funducational" game, as much as it would be a game that is enjoyable in itself and helps adults better understand the greater details of different political beliefs.
2. A Tales-esque JRPG... about the Justice League. Your party is: Batman (Ranged/Melee combat/Healing), Flash (Melee combat), Superman (Mix of casting, ranged, and melee combat), Wonder Woman (Ranged combat), Green Lantern (Casting), Martian Manhunter (Casting/Healing), and Green Arrow (Ranged combat)

I HAD a lot of game ideas in my head, but I don't know where they all went to.

Presidential Power, a beat 'em up where various presidents from modern day must team up & save the world.

Ronald Reagan, with his trait of "Tear Down This Wall", can break through certain barriers others can not.

Bill Clintion, with his trait of "I Did Not Inhale", would be immune to all poison.

Barack Obama, with his trait of "If You Like Your Healthcare Plan, You Can Keep Your Healthcare Plan", would have twice as much health as the others.

Of course, if you die too many times, you'll have the option to use George W. Bush, which guarantees a win with his "Mission Accomplished" trait.

My idea is a Portal-Styled game about a robot learning about it's past. It would either be a point and click adventure like Zack & Wiki or a puzzle platformer like Stick It To The Man. It would possibly be released as a download title for Wii U, PC, PSVita(TV) and PS4.

So I guess that means portal style is just for the graphics.

Pretty much. The test chamber mechanic would be there, but the puzzles and story would be the main focus.

I'm hoping to get into development so I can make it a real thing.

open world pacman

i got the idea from playing pacman 256.
-classic 2D-pacman gameplay as the core gameplay
-some story involving a mysterious glitch king who threatens the world and infects parts of the world that have to be restored again by the player
-after restoring levels challenges are unlocked for that level
-all kinds of side quests
-rpg elements (collectable power ups/abilities that can be upgraded)
-power ups/abilities can be placed on the face buttons
-maybe a sprint button on the shoulder buttons (sprint only avaible for very short bursts)
-maybe a button for slow motion
-slow motion and sprint need the same ressource (stamina meter of some kind; also upgradable)
-different terrains with different properties
-world bosses
-lots of easter eggs involving gaming history
-special bonus levels (like a 2d sidescroller etc.)
-hidden collectibles like arcade machines with minigames
-modern graphics with nice effects; should not distract the player however
