I don't know. I mean, some of the common enemies seemed to predict your attacks for no reason occasionally but other than that...I don't get it.

Nah, too much debating and opinions and arguing in Game Grumps. Just let me watch two totally heterosexual guys play games. (Though I would like to see them play even a little Mario Kart, and I'm pretty sure Nickelodeon Guts is the most friendship-breaking game they've played)

@CaptainSquid - I don't get it either. They've done Mario Party 2, 4, and 8, but currently no Mario Kart.

I really want to like Game Grumps, but I just don't get the appeal. I mean, I've laughed a lot throughout the channel's existence as Jon is a very funny, charming guy, but I find the two mostly jabbering about nonsense. The interesting discussions they rarely have are disappointing as both are scared to discuss them in fear of whatever they're scared. It's disappointing because every discussion has so much potential to be interesting something the series now lacks.

The Sonic '06 episodes are being used as fillers due to the fact it's their most watched series. Which, shouldn't be the case. There are so many great games the two have started but quit a few episodes in. For example: Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country 2, Banjo Kazooie, Contra III, Demon's Souls (I never expected a completion but seriously, so much potential), and so many more.

In return we get Nickelodeon, Power Rangers and Chuck E. Cheeses play throughs. Really.

And to add onto these oh-so obvious faults, if Arin isn't complaining about how he dislikes a game (though he's fine playing Chuck E. Cheeses and Mario Party), and it turns for the worse, Jon doesn't want to play the game anymore even though he praises it to absolutely no end. (i.e Banjo Kazooie, Yoshi's Island, DKC2.)

I'm not persuading anyone's opinion, but those are the reasons why Game Grumps isn't what it could be and exactly why I prefer Machinima's Two Best Friends Play.

Just the random loud noises and stuff and immature behavior. If there's actually gaming analysis in there I could probably force myself to watch it, I love being informed of stuff but I hate when bad jokes or humor (in my opinion) are thrown in, which seems to be the case with a LOT of game-centric youtubers.

This pretty much sums up the grump and the not so grump playing in one room together.

While I admit one could find more mature people on Youtube, I can't imagine a straight-up game analysis/gameplay with absolutely no humor at all. That just sounds a little boring. The two are both silly when it comes down to it, so I guess I agree that if that's what you're looking for, Game Grumps aren't the best for that.

I unfortunately have to agree. There's potential here, I'm just not feeling that they're realizing it. Maybe in a year or two they'll get better and I can start keeping up with them more.

I honestly think they're best when making fun of anything ridiculous in the game. Their attempts at any intelligent discussions are usually interrupted or horribly thought out imo. If you want interesting game discussion, watch Extra Credits or something. I do agree they should finish some of those games though.

I watch at least 4 Game-related shows that more-or-less manage to pull off what they're doing while still making intelligent points and discussions about games...I don't see why this one shouldn't do that, too. As it stands, it's just mindless comedy (that wants to be something more) in my eyes. I don't really feel like wasting my time with that. I'll watch a few more episodes, like, next year or something, to see if they've gotten any better, but otherwise, I think I'll just move on.

I highly doubt this will ever "get better". Arin and Jon have constantly said this is just something they do on the weekends for the heck of it. They know it's dumb mindless fun. You either have to enjoy it for that or just not watch except for once or twice every now and then. I personally love these guys. Although, the show itself is ok. I've had some massive laughs, I was DYING at Jon's GeorgLopez impression, but I don't watch every single thing these guys do. Just when I feel like it,

That doesn't stop them from having thousands of views a day though.

It'll never get better. By the time it gets better, the show will either be stale for all or egoraptor will get bored of it and continue not doing anything worthwhile.
