I love Kevin Smith movies. Particularly the first 3 (the original Jersey Trilogy). View Askew FTW!

@theblackdragon
I thought I was the only one that wasn't really a fan of Kevin's wife. I have nothing against her but they threw her in with a bunch of really hot actresses like Eliza Dushku, Shannon Elizabeth, & Ali Larter! I didn't really like her & felt kinda bad when I found out she was Kevin's wife.

Anyway, I finally saw Tropic Thunder this weekend and loved every minute of it. It's been a while since a movie made me laugh that hard. I had to pause it when Ben Stiller was licking the directors head before impaling it. And those fake movie trailers were hilarious. Let me throw in a few more favorites: Airplane 1 & 2, Old School, Superbad, Dazed & Confused, Empire Records, Singles, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, & Office Space.

Every movie I thought of has already been listed, but I'll add them again:
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Airplane
Blazing Saddles
This Is Spinal Tap
Tommy Boy
Seriously, they're all hilarious, even after watching them a million times.

Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

@Adam: i know; it's just for the Starfy contest, though. I'll change it back once Objection_Master is officially awarded his prize.

@Silentj: I know, right?!??? I had no idea who she was when I first saw J&SBSB, and she got on my freaking nerves, but when i found out who she was I felt so bad. And she irritated the hell out of me in Clerks II as well... I know she was supposed to, but she did too good of a job. that scene with her and Dante kissing on the swing with that music playing in the background... ugh, i skip that scene (or look away) every time i'm watching it.

Ah, there's a contest? How did I not know about this? That explains so much.

I'm just amazed no one has failed to mention Hot Shots & Hot Shots Part Deux! Those 2 are definately my #2 top favorites of all time! Those are forever hailed as the best for Charlie Sheen & the late Lloyd Bridges!

My favorite scenes in Hot Shots are:
When Topper & Ramada make beautiful food together, with the eggs & Bacon! When Gregory (Cary Elwes) & Topper fight over Ramada after she LOL sings! Washout being dragged to the Hospital where they check Deadmeat before he dies... "Wendy I can Fly"!
My favorite scenes in Hot Shots Part Deux are:
When Topper kicks kickboxer butt! When Topper shoots the arrows & then shoots the chicken; LOL hilarious it is! But the biggest LOL's are the whole fight with Saddam Hussein & Topper until President Benson (Lloyd Bridges) comes in & does that whole Star Wars bit! Then the whole ending where Saddam melts back like T1000 from Terminator 2; & gets crushed by the piano like Wizard of Oz!

@captain Jack - Your right, All Leslie Nielsen Spoof films are great, The Naked Gun films + Airplane (which has already had a few shouts) I am a big fan of slapstick/spoof/surreal comedy.

School Of Rock was my favorite Jack Black movie, cuz it was his funniest.

I don't really have a favorite movie. But my favorite TV show is Scrubs. That show is so fantastic.

Check out my classy comics.

Adam

Yes, it is the greatest TV show ever. I hope it returns in some form. I go through long phases where I'll watch a couple episodes every night before I go to sleep. It never gets old. I get the impression that Danny August likes the show, too.

JD's day dreams at the end of the finale (on the projector screen) were really touching...
I mean that in a manly kind of way.

Ghostbusters has probably made me laugh more than any other film. Some of the lines are just fantastic - they're so well written and their timing in the film is just perfect. It also has one of the best visual gags in film I can think of with the arrival of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!

As well as that film, I also love Wayne's World 1 & 2.

Mystery Men and Galaxy Quest are funny films no-one's mentioned.

As for the "funniest" (which is subjective anyway), I'd go with a popular choice of the Trinity of Monty Python Films and Spinal Tap.
