Well My first Game Console is the NES, more precise it was the NES Action Set a Bundle system with two NES Controller as well as a Zapper and 2 NES game (aka Super Mario Bros + Duck Hunt in one cartridge) so i can only guess that i play Super Mario Bros first before Duck Hunt (i'm not 100% sure do but i'm 100% sure these two games are the first games i ever played.)
I'm pretty sure there was a thread about this a long time ago, but anyway:
The first game I ever played and owned was the Game Boy Pocket port of the MegaDrive game Pinocchio. It was an unforgettable moment. I find the game to be fun. I happen to pull it out every once in awhile. I still own it, thirteen-fourteen years later.

Super Mario World for Snes was the first one i ever owned. Ive probably played other games before that over friends houses or arcades but i dont remember.

The very first game I ever played was Sonic the Hedgehog on Master System. I remember dying time and time again, and the first time I encountered a spring I cried out, "A Mario pipe!" right before I got propelled into the air.

I "watched" my cousin play pokemon yellow, and that was the first video game i saw, but then I got pokemon silver and that was the first game I owned. Ah the memories... weeps
IDR what the 1st game I played was. Though I'm thinking it was prob a Snes game or PS1 game As for the 1st game I ever owned I think it was Crash 2 Well At least it was the 1st game I ever bought myself XD
It's just weird that some people's first game was Super Mario 64. That game was just so wondrous for the people that already had lots of video game experience. Like nothing we had ever seen before. Simply amazing...
First game I played/owned was... Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for the NES, I think. Either that or some DOS game which I have completely forgotten the name of. I remember stacks of floppy disks being required just to install one game!
1st game I ever played was Pong, as for 1st game ever owned, in 82 my parents bought my brother & me an Atari 2600 & 12 or more games (I was 5 so I really don't remember the exact number, but it was a lot) If I remember they were Superman, Space Invaders, Missile Command, Baseball, Bowling, Hockey, & some others who's names escape me now.
