What's the first game you ever played?

Mine was.

Pinocchio for the Game Boy Pocket was the first game I played and owned back when I was five ('96) or six ('97).

I think it was Sonic the Hedgehog or DKL I dont remember but i do remember always dying in DKL from the Zingers.

Mine was Super Mario Bros way back in 1986. My dad rented my brother and I a NES system from a local video store. Been playing video games ever since.

Mine was "Frogger" on the Game Boy Color. Love that game.

I think mine was Monster Truck for GBA.

Pokemon Silver version for GB Colour

I don't remember which game I played first, but Pokemon Yellow was the first game I owned.

Bugs Life on the GBC and it was the hardest game for me at the time because I was only 3 or 4

The hell if I know, it's been so long. Probably wasn't any good, either. I'll just take a shot in the dark and say Pokemon or Sonic 2. Whether they are or not, they're the first games in my heart.:3

Oh god. Sonic 3 is the oldest I remember playing. Oldest one that I beat was probably Pokemon Red. I still remember my old awesome team and how I JUST BARELY beat Gary. God he's such a douche.

It must've been Mickey Mousecapade, at least that's the one I remember playing most vividly. My older sister and I had an NES with Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt, Mickey Mousecapade and the golden Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. I would usually just watch my sister play Mario, which is why I hesitate to say it was the first game I actually played, and one time when I was supposed to take a bath I didn't want to stop watching her play. Instead, I got up, kicked my dad, and went and sat back down. He and my mom decided to take the system away from us and put it in the closet, eventually shipping it off to my cousins in South Carolina. Eventually we got them to get it back, and it came with Mickey in the system and the other two games nowhere to be found. So sad. Miss that gold Zelda.

So strange, a generation of gamers born after than the NES...

The first Nintendo games I remember playing were:
-Super Mario All-Stars
-Mario is Missing! (No Weegee Though)
-An RPG (Final Fantasy 4 I think...)

I think my first game was a game called "Ready Aim Fire!"; i had to input all the lines of code into an old Tandy terminal (i think -- it was whatever my dad had for his job at the time) and "save" it on a cassette tape. I was about 4 yrs old at the time (which would make it either 1979 or early 1980), and have only a very vague recollection.

My dad got me an Atari 2600 right around the same time or shortly thereafter, so Combat would likely be the first console game i played.

Super Mario Bros. not a bad way to start.

Not sure. Some game on Atari. First one that comes to mind is baseball

The furthest back I can remember was when I was 6; I would play Mortal Kombat II until blisters would form on my fingers. I would get so angry at the game at times, that my parents even had to take the console away. xD

at my friend's house although truthfully, I don't know.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for GBC. Of course, I was 4 and didn't really know what a video game was, but still, I guess I was raised well.
