@Luigi78: I hate on Microsoft because they've earned it through retarded business practices and software programming. I just took the challenge from thewiirocks, and he's right! The site doesn't run at all, saying that Internet Explorer does not support the web standards required by the game.
Besides that, I don't know how anybody puts up with the user interface on IE. It's just so...cluttered and needlessly difficult to navigate. Kind of like Windows.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

@Stuffgamer1: Fair enough if their software has directly p*****d you off then by all means steer clear of it, My point was that for the average PC user IE works fine. I've never encountered any website that I couldn't view or had any other problems.Like I said I'm gonna try another browser out of curiosity and see if,for people like me i.e a basic user ,whether or not it has any significant advantages. Oh and I find windows perfectly usable too, I use quite a lot of it's features too, but thats a different debate altogether.
What's this bit for again?

FireFox al the way, though Internet Explorer is not that bad as it used to be compared to FF.
Open source kicks ass.

How's the experiment going?

Dang, I was hoping the new post was a report from the experiment. I'm curious too, Luigi78!

For the Acid3 Test I got:
100 -- Google Chrome100-- Safari72 -- Firefox 3.512 -- Internet Explorer
I prefer Firefox though. It loads up quick, and loads my favorite web pages fast too. And I use a lot of the add-ons.

Use a Mac, so I use Safari. While on a PC, I tried IE,Firefox, and Opera. Opera really impressed me when I used it, while Firefox is always a solid choice. If you like viruses and spyware get IE. Although, I could say the same thing about PCs in general. Mac is the way to go...just got one this year and I'm not looking back.

Luke....its the Windows OS that gets targetted for viruses and spyware not the PC. I'm sure that will switch if Mac ever becomes pop enough....
Beyond that, I prefer Firefox because fo the addons/themes and what not. Opera is nice but I found a bunch of webpages that wouldn't load correctly. IE is there if a webpage doesn't load right, then most likely IE will get it to load right because it was designed for it. Its really based on preference.

Might as well try Firefox.

Fun fact: Firefox is 99.99X better than Internet Explorer.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Why did you bump this thread with a reply to my Acid2 and Acid3 tests instead of using the existing thread in which we were actually talking about the Acid2 and Acid3 tests???
