LOL bad airbrushing. Ya, I know what you're getting at. I was talking about Disney is using these posters to just create a big stir like what's happening now in this thread. The same kind of thing happened on another message board I'm on in regards to the suggestiveness of one of the Prom posters Disney published but it didn't save the movie, still I think it will work for Pirates of the Caribbean.

Disney knows they alienated many people with the last Pirates movie and they want to create a big conversation out of people over this movie with the hope that the more people talk about it the more will turn out to see it. Michael Jackson did the exact same thing, so does Lady Gaga and many others but that is a whole different diabolically confusing ball game.

i'm pretty sure what they're hoping to see is mermaids and pirates, which are both kinda featured on the poster in question...? either way, i didn't see where you got off talking about people's crotches and yellow water spouts in relation to the discussion that was already happening, and I still don't. I'd appreciate it if you were to keep your own fetishes off of NL please, they're not appropriate for this forum. :/

So I took the opportunity to have a bit of fun with the issue at hand. It's just plain mockery.

I hope I didn't offend anyone, it's basically pure fun. I didn't say anything majorly messed up and twisted as Peter Griffin or American Dad's creators might have done. My statement was a cross between the under the table joke of Regular Show's The Power and a comedic joke Bruckheimer made concerning the suggestive appearance of the Mermaids in the movie when he was asked by somebody from IGN.com if it was a bit pornographic (the mermaids). Bruckheimer gave a wry response and I just took an inch and made a mile out of Bruckheimer's joke and Regular Show. Perhaps, I'm being a little to geeky.

Why is it these threads always make me feel confused, bewildered and a little bit ill.

It's fine to be behind. I still haven't seen 2012, Tron Legacy, G-Force, Iron Man 2 and lot of other stuff. Life, family, friends, gaming and joy are what matters. Nothing more, nothing less.

Just got back from seeing the movie! Without spoiling anything I'll just say it was fun. Still pretty good considering this is the fourth one. Better than 2 or 3 but the original is still best. Btw Stick around after the credits for a little Pirates 5 teaser.
Looks like this saga is far from over. As long as Johnny Depp doesn't call it quits after this I'll keep seeing these movies.

I saw the movie today and I thought it was really good.

I saw the movie today... I was disapointed. I mean without Kiera Knightly or Orlando Bloom it was so borring... IMO this was the worst of the series. I just didn't like it. But I did appreciate the Religious stuff they managed to get in there. I mean it wasn't a "bad movie" it just wasn't anything special.
Oh, but before I forget... GO SPANISH!!!

Well, not boring, but it just wasn't right. I mean they had pretty big roles in the first 3.

I saw Rango again yesterday with my girlfriend instead. Same director as the first three Pirates movies, still has Johnny Depp as the protagonist and the guy who played Davy Jones as the antagonist. Rango is the real Pirates 4 as far as I'm concerned.

I saw the movie yesterday, and it was very entertaining. It was surprisingly less complicated than the others; I didn't have to pay close attention to the movie in order to understand what was going on. It was, overall, the most entertaining; however, I can't say it was the best, but definately better than the 2nd one.
