Mario Kart 8's Rainbow road....the retro one. They made it to the point that it almost unrecognizable in a good way. They made the track much faster and a bit more kinetic to the old one where you just drive in a straight line and avoiding the occasional chain chomp. The train is a perfect touch too. And deh MUSIC. If only they added one more lap. (trust me guys 2 laps is enough, no need for three.)
For the non-retro redone ones...... I haven't played all of the karts so I don't know, lol. But so far it's Super Mario kart rainbow road. The way where there's no walls so you gotta be perfect. The way that it a FLIPPIN RAINBOW ROAD...in SPACE! And the rainbow thwomps where they can hurt you even if you bump into em. Sure there's not much going on and it's a bit short but it doesn't need to be as it's the perfect length. And deh MUSIC!
Probably Wii's considering all its crazy turns and whatnot. But I do really enjoy 8's. I can tell not that much people do...
I think the MK 8 one could have been a LOT more fancy considering the anti-grav elements, but I still think it's a pretty good/competitive level. I really liked the Gamecube and Wii ones the most though, probably because I played them so much with my brother
I'd Have to go with MK7's track especially since it has the best arrangement of the N64 RR's music. I just love how the track is just one lap but tries to throw as many things as possible to you. In most cases, that isn't a good thing but there's something about traveling on Saturn's rings then on the moon and flying through the stars that keeps me coming back for some reason. But in terms of competitive play, I think the Classic SNES RR is the best. Not much obstacles in your way aside from the tight turns and ledges so it's all about the skill in winning the race.
