Have to give a shout out to Tails. My little bro always played as him in Sonic 3 and Knuckles and flew me places so I could get extra lives/special stages; we'd race to see who could bust open the prison eggs first at the end of levels, and co-op Sonic 2 special stages were awesome as well. Playing as Knuckles also rocked pretty hard.
