So I just watched Poltergeist for the first time yesterday and I thought it was a really good movie. I had no idea that Speilberg was involved in the making of that movie until later and it got me thinking about how many Classics he's been a part of. I'm kind of curious to hear what movies of his you like the best. It's really hard for me to choose a favorite but I think I would go with saving private ryan. I also really enjoyed close encounters of the third kind. That story was so original and kept my attention the entire time.
Indiana Jones. Raider of the Lost Ark was the best one imo.
That looks about right for me too.
Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Great scott!! I'm a little surprised no ones mentioned back to the future. I've always loved that series too.
Oh yeah, I forgot that one was a Speilberg movie. It's in a close tie with Jurassic Park.
I forgot about that too. He doesn't have any truly bad movies (I actually enjoyed the new Indy) and his filmography is so big you sort of forget how many great movies he has.

I'm not generally a huge Speilberg fan, but certainly he has his share of entertaining films. I actually find A.I to be his most interesting, probably due to the bizarre interaction between Kubrick's vision and Speilberg's fairy-tale wrapping.

That's a really good one, probably his most interesting, but I found the length to be a bit ridiculous. For me, Minority Report nailed that creepy-futuristic vibe a lot better.
