WRONG!!! All but 3 countries (inculding japan) went the 4kids route. the links below are a few examples of what some Euro. countries looked like
Plus a chain smoker is quote from wiki "Chain smoking is the practice of lighting a new cigarette for personal consumption immediately after one that is finished, sometimes using the finished cigarette to light the next one. It is a common form of addiction" and a good example of what they sound like would be Sanji from One Piece by 4kids (What a surprise)
Idiots and voice acting is worse than anything. Is tails a Tran-sexual? I mean seriously. They all must been sucking on helium balloons too.
The old Sonics from the early 90's were much much better.

I loved the 90's Sonic cartoons, my local kmart has the complete series on dvd. I wanna see them again.
I know the voice acting was embarressing to watch, but the show was ok, IMO. I don't know the name of the episode (haven't seen it in years), but I think its the one where sonic and knuckles where looking for a chaos emerald at a movie set or something.

@GmIs: Actually, that Sanji voice didn't sound at all like one (which is funny because he's the only character that would work with one). He actually sounded pretty nasally... I thought both dub versions of Luffy sounded more like one than either of the Sanji ones...

Absolutely not! The only anime I've ever watched in Japanese was The King of Fighters: Another Day.
