I'd like to say Neo Geo, but I never owned one.
As such, I go with Dreamcast. Some really great games came into existence on it (Jet Set Radio and Skies of Arcadia being among my favourites), and the whole system itself was just incredible, albeit a bit ahead of its own time.
I would have to say the Dreamcast overall,.....................the Sega Genesis and Xbox are contenders, but the Genesis was quickly overshadowed by the Super Nintendo during my childhood (despite great memories of Altered Beast and Sonic 2), and as far as the Xbox, it was a strong console, but the first party titles, outside of a few gems, were kinda meh during the first few years.......................it was however the best platform for third party titles or FPS's.
Reasons for the Dreamcast....
It has that WOW factor, maybe it wasn't as substantial as seeing Super Mario 64 for the first time (mind blown), but the jump from the 5th gen (PS1, Saturn, N64), to the 6th gen (starting with the Dreamcast), was still pretty huge.
Amazing launch window software releases,.........you wanted to impress your friends who were still jamming there 32/64 bit systems? Throw Sonic Adventure on the disc tray and speed through Emerald Coast, for late 1999, that was dropping jaws, or better yet, play a few rounds in Soul Caliber............besides that, you had NFL 2K, Virtua Fighter 3, House of the Dead 2, Dynamite Cop, Crazy Taxi, Power Stone, Toy Commander, etc., all coming out within the first couple of months.
Wealth of titles, considering the Dreamcast only lasted from late 1999 to mid-late 2001, it has a pretty huge library of titles.
Unique games, with a lot of them being developed by Sega or Capcom............you just had niche genres covered really well on the Dreamcast, 2D/3D fighters, realistic and mostly not-so realistic racers, beat em ups and arcade titles of various types, and also really ambitious games like Shenmue, amazing 2K sports games, the list goes on.
Online play, more or less the first time I ever dabbled in it via a console, specifically with Quake 3 and Alien Front Online.....
.............................The Dreamcast is unique in that it pretty much did everything right as far marketing, software, hardware specs, but ultimately failed.
PS2. It stands right alongside the SNES as one of the two consoles that really defined who I'd be as a gamer. With many of my favorite PS2 games being some of my favorites of all time.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
For systems I actually owned? Dreamcast. Due to the arcade quality fighting games. For systems I coveted? Neo Geo. That system is still on my bucket list. Again for fighting games.

Right now it's the PS3, so many great games, really the system I grew up on when I wasn't 5 years old, actually, it's might favorite system including Nintendo consoles.. One day it might become the PS4 though. The new generation is looking to become the best.
