We can't all play video games and derp on NL all the time... right? Right?! RIGHT?!?!
Anyways, I have made this into one of my favorite past times, other then you know, video games and banging my head against the wall, and talking to myself and... yeah that stuff.
Please take this seriously, and feel free to support why you think this is your favorite. Please, no spoilers or trolls.
PS the book was better

The Rangers's Apprentice series is definitely the best. The character interaction is not pure gold, but pure diamond.

Watership Down has always been my favorite piece of literature. Though I haven't read it for quite a few years, maybe I should read through it again soon...

I'll keep an eye on this thread for ideas of what books to read next. Though I've already got quite a few I mean to get to eventually...

Catch-22 is the bestest book ever! Coincidentally, it's also the last book I read to completion in well over 4 years.

I have read a lot of books to completion, and Catch-22 is still the best book I have ever read.

While I did have to read it for class, I still say Lord of the Flies is pretty sweet.

  • The Bear & The Dragon (By Tom Clancy)
  • Inheritance Cycle (Eragon series. By Christopher Paolini)
  • Redwall series (By Brian Jaques)

Some more memorable standouts.

I really don't have one favorite, so I'll use that as an excuse to vomit up a list of some of my favorite books:

A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin (with A Storm of Swords being my favorite of the bunch)
Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut (really, everything I've read by Vonnegut has been outstanding)
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain
Catch-22 by Joseph Heller (re-reading this for the first time in years right now, actually)
World War Z by Max Brooks
Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley
The Sign of the Four by Arthur Conan Doyle
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Lord of the Flies by William Golding

Well I its hard for me to choose one but if I have to I guess I will go with

The Deathgate Cycle by Margaret Wise and Tracey Hickman. I dont read much now but when I did I must have read this series at least 20 times lol.

Another one of my favorite series is the Shannara Series by Terry Brooks which I have to read the newest books.

Anyone like a book they weren't compelled to read in English class? ... no?

You are what you eat from your head to your feet.
