I'm putting this up for Farrah because her death seems to be getting buried under the news of Michael Jackson's death.

Farrah Fawcett was the star of the popular TV show Charlie's Angel. She was 62 when she died.

@Vendetta -Just figured out what you were talking about. That was unintentional, I wasn't trying to be clever when I said buried.

I guess the secret's out now, though: I never watched Charlie's Angels.

Anyway, that's all I wanted to know, thanks. I honestly thought someone made up the name, and I was worried we'd have another fad of similar threads like in the "Ban _" days, except with a much more morbid theme.

Kind of strange some people have not heard of Farrah Fawcett, but I guess we might be too young to know, but I did anyway. I didn't care for her as much as MJ, but it is sad to see she died as well and Ed McMahon. RIP

While we're at it:

R.I.P. Albert Christian Anders, William Edward Banks, Sarah Elizabeth Beatty, Deangelia Bell, Mattie Lou Cartee, Jean Castleberry, Birder Cockrell, Pauline Dancy, Rachel Dawkins.

That's less than half the names in my local paper's obituary just for today. It's a stretch, but I think some of their lives just might have been as meaningful as those of a celebrity.
