No, they aren't. Fanboys suck. Today I ran into a 360 fanboy over at the Gamespot forums. This is what happened:
He said the PS3 sucks. Some random dude (not me, by the way) calls him a fanboy. He responds: i am not a fanboy i have a 360 so my opinion is valid. He also said in a different thread that if anyone disagrees that the 360 is best that he would "single handily bash them." He said that Microsoft should buy both Sony and Nintendo to make gaming a better place. He made three threads. I love how most people responded. There were 7 pages of "cool story bro" pics in just one thread. It was epic. That fanboy made his account that day, and was banned a few hours later.
I don't know about the internet being 62% less entertaining without them. I'm pretty sure porn would still work if they left the internet.

I thought the article was very entertaining as most are on the site, but its actually pretty true. Fanboys do spend there money on the systems, games, shirts, and pretty much everthing from that company/game. Nintendo fanboys will defend Mario to their death, 360 fanboys will take NO criticism from anyone about ANYTHING and Sony fanboys are a very mixed bag of a little of everything. Im not really a fanboy of any of them, Im a fanboy of gaming in general, though recently I have been leaning toward Sony as my sytem of choice, Im no diehard fanboy of any of them.

Whilst I wouldn't disagree that peeps who blindly support one company, or console, as if it's a sports team, are annoying, and should be banned from the internet for ever and ever, there is a problem, I think, in that on most forums these days, the term 'fanboy' actually means 'someone who doesn't share my exact opinion on this subject'.

Trin wins the Longest Run-On Sentence Ever Witnessed Award of the Month. Anyway, I grew up with both Nintendo and Sony, and I don't show any bias towards either companies. They're both good companies, and that is my opinion. If anyone thinks any different, I'm okay with that and don't mind at all.
