Okay, I'm glad at this because EGM (before most gaming sites) provided me with gaming news when I was younger.
Well, with the return of the EGM regulars (Seanbaby, Dan Hsu and Quartermann) and a new digital version called EGMi, sounds like a nice reset button press for them.
So what are your thoughts and what brought you gaming goods most of the time? Whether it be magazines, word of mouth, TV, whatever, speak up!
Very interesting. I would go ahead and subscribe to the magazine depending if I had the money, but all my money in on an Edge Gamestop Card. Too bad I'll have to deal with Game Informer for another year, althought they are decent too.
Great news. I had a subscription to this magazine back in the day. Still have a collection of a few of them, but they are not in great condition, still enjoy looking back at them to see what those years of gaming were like.

Same here. The one I love the most is the PS3 vs. Wii comparison issue (November 2006). It was a great read and even though the PS3's capabilities were laid before me, I still chose the Wii.
So yeah, it helped me with a future console choice.
Wait...didn't they close down in January of 2008/09? Now they're starting back up again? Talk about a marketing strategy.

Well they will not get me back as a customer after they shut down I was not offered a refund for the remaining 8 months of my subscription. Instead they sold my subscription to another company and I started receiving magazines that were not even gaming related.

@Fox My preachers wife is the postmaster at the post office she sees all the mail. I am a straight male that is married and a kid on the way. It was pretty embarrassing when I went to pick up the mail and a playgirl was addressed to me. I do not see that as awesome. Especially when I had subscribed to EGM for 10 years.

I don't see a problem with that, but maybe that's just me. It's not really EGM you should be angry at. The subscriptions were sold by their publishers and they had zero control over it.
