Topic: Eclipses & gaming baddies

With the much-hyped solar eclipse here, I got to wondering: Due to prophecies, rituals, etc.; which gaming villains (in theory lol) should be descending to rain destruction upon the eclipse-viewing area? There are so many gaming storylines that I can't remember all of them!

I'll extend it to lunar eclipse-awakened bad guys for the fun of it. 🙂 😈🌞🌑

Well, the theme for Ganondorf in Hyrule Warriors is Eclipse of the World.

An eclipse always reminds me of the day of darkness at the end of Okami.
...so expect Yami to bring down an army of demons and darkness upon you!!!

Skull Kid. He's moving the moon in front of the sun so that it's all dark and we won't be able to see anything, then he's going to have the moon crash down on the Earth before anyone sees what's coming.

I could only think of Arlon the Serene from Kid Icarus Uprsising. Commander of the Lunar Sanctum, a moon-like structure that served as a prison.

No hordes of evil and all that is really BAD have decended upon us here yet. The sliver of me that might want to watch the world burn is disappoint. 😝 Oh yeah, the original Ninja Gaiden... Hope there's there's a friendly neighborhood Hayabusa around to handle the forthcoming big a** demon. 😁 (Man, it was brutal trying to finish NG!)

There's a tribe in Horizon Zero Dawn called The Eclipse. So maybe they're gonna attack with an army of robot dinosaurs.

Edit: I'm disappointed that Horizon Zero Dawn was the first thing I thought, instead of a Pokemon.
