Topic: Easiest way to upload image for an avatar?

What is the easiest way to upload an image from the web as an avatar?

This is how I got mine.
1. Go to google images and find the picture you want.
2. Make the page a little smaller (click the thing at the top), and drag it to the side. Then click on the picture, hold down the mouse button, and move the mouse over to your desktop.
3. Click browse when you are choosing your icon, go to desktop, and find the picture.
