Topic: Does Nintendo take volunteers to design and test?

This seems probably really stupid or silly but from my research is that they don’t. I have someone claiming I’m a group that they work very lowly with gf and Nintendo. After some conversation they are volunteering. He says he works on debugging and designing scenes and he submits them and people make changes to them that are higher level. He also says he gets a cool title Professor Privet (which I can’t find any info on but someone reconfanized it from captain underpants). He claims Nintendo accepts volunteers but if that so than there would be so much information out there. He also lives in the uk. He has been avoiding the name of the company that he claims to be volunteering for. Also claims his laptop at home doesn’t work well.

So before I call kick him for impersonating I just want to make sure. Also he tells everyone he has inside knowledge but when I asked about a gag he ignored it. Also says they are working on a port for crystal to the switch. Thanks for all your help. 99.9% sure this is all crap but want to make sure.

He sounds like he is obviously lying about working with Nintendo. If he is avoiding every question and refuses to answer then that is probably a red flag.
I think the developers test their own games.

@iLikeUrAttitude I know some smaller companies accept volunteers as I am one but we are listed and easily identified. Also it’s weird how he used the language bugs instead of quality insurance. I believe he is 99.9% lying but just want to make sure. Small lies I can handle but telling other members you work of a huge company when you don’t is sketchy. Which is why I’m going to kick. I don’t want anyone believing this dude and giving sensitive information. He did first say Nintendo and than I mentioned quality insurance is contracted out by different companies so Nintendo wouldn’t take volunteers. His reasoning was because he is a designer that he is allowed to test.

@CupcakeBomb I say call him out, blatantly lying about working for a big company isn't right.

Of course most major game developers hire testers. Look at the credits of a major release sometime.

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
