My favorite part is that zero of these are even Nintendo characters and none of them are remotely likely to even be considered by Sakurai.
It's just a dream list and Rayman made it in at least as an assist trophy. I could actually see one or two of those and what do you mean none of those are a Nintendo character? What is Professor Layton then? But yeah, I think we've seen our last outside character though. Rayman would've probably been the last good fit for the game.
Of all of those though, Simon Belmont would be awesome in my book. Hey, it could happen.
Seeing stuff reminds me, are there any ACTUAL prediction lists of who people think could actually get in Smash that makes sense!? I can never find one, and whenever I think I do, it's just a joke list, or some sad person who lists a bunch of 3rd Party characters that have absolutely no shot yet actually believes there's a chance for them. Like I remember when IGN made their roster prediction, it was just a list of like 20 Dragon Ball Z characters, clearly they weren't taking that seriously, but then again, it seems no one is! I would just love to see an actual prediction list.
I am a bit disappointed that Layton and Phoenix Wright still haven't seen inclusion in the series. I mean, even Solid Snake has gotten in on the action at this point!
When I was 14, GI payed attention to Nintendo, because it was successful. Now that its user base has gotten smaller, they dont care about Nintendo fans anymore. I read the magazine because it was relevant to me, and its not anymore, because they are ignoring us. They havent had a Nintendo cover story since October 2012. Thats over 3 years. Pathetic.
