Last year I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and Dyslexia. If you don't know what Asperger's Syndrome is then please read a bit of this to get an idea of what it does and what it's like to have: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger_syndrome . Since I have Asperger's Syndrome it contributes to my passion and obsessiveness towards gaming which is a big part of what makes me a Gamer. Seeing how big some peoples game collections are on Backloggery I tend to suspect that I'm not the only Gamer that has it, in fact I'm sure it's actually quite common to find that many gamers have it. Considering I live in somewhat of an obscure country (New Zealand) where Hardcore Gamers aren't as common to come by, I tend to feel isolated but also like an alien in this Country since I feel like I belong somewhere completely different (which is a common problem with AS).
So do you have it? Or do you suspect that you may? Let me know!

I was diagnosed right before I started high school (back in 1999). I struggled to cope with it all throughout high school, but now I think I have good control of it. I have OCD symptoms that are mainly caused by high anxiety (which are common traits in people with Asperger's).
Hey do you want to exchange friend codes for the Wii and 3DS? Go to these threads to exchange the appropriate friend codes:
Some of our users identify within the spectrum of autism, yes. However, this sort of discussion invites commentary from trolls and people who do not understand, and (like discussions about religion and politics) goes downhill far too quickly. If you'd truly like to discuss it, sugoisabarashi, you're more than welcome to link to a personal blog post (or some other place under your control, not NL's) in your signature and invite users to discuss that way. Thank you! :3
