I'm not a huge fan of Doctor Who, but I do enjoy it. About half a year ago I watched the episodes Rose, Blink, Silence in the Library, and Forest of the Dead. I don't have Netflix or BBC America, so I don't watch it often.

The finale was pretty good but I don't think it was as good as it could have been and I'm worried that the episode the the cliffhanger is leading up to will be another one of Steven Moffat's overly ambitious episodes that fail to live up to the hype.
What was everyone's favourite episodes of season 33/series 7B? I think that Cold War and The Crimson Horror were easily the best of that series! Those were both awesome episodes but I think The Crimson Horror just about takes the title of best episode of the series for me.
For me, I'm not sure. I liked Name of the Doctor thanks to the whole travelling through the Doctor's timeline thing and how it concluded the season well, and I liked Nightmare in Silver, but most of the others were more 'decent' than fantastic to me.
Wow, it's official. Matt Smith will be hanging up his fez and regenerate into the 12th Doctor during this year's Christmas special.
And, as is customary, it's time to start wildly speculating who the next Doctor will be and/or who we want to win the part.
My shortlist?

2. Bill Nighy
3. Jim Broadbent
4. Benedict Cumberbatch
5. Chiwetel Ejiofor
They're probably all too busy and famous for the role (especially Cumberbatch), but I think any one of them would make for a fantastic, and unique, take on the Doctor.
I still can't figure out whether I actually like Amy Pond as a companion, because every time she's on screen, I'm almost blinded by how beautiful Karen Gillan is.
I was never compelled to care for her as much as the companions in the 2005-2009 series.

Its sad to see 11 go as he was my favorite. With his docotr i actuqlly felt like i was watching a scifi shpw rather then a soap opera with aliens. I wonder who will replace him. Keep in mind from what i have read the actor who plays the doctor is never someone too famous.
