You should be washing your hands after using ANY restroom, but I'd think ESPECIALLY a public one!

Luckily where I am, we never seem to get the doors with handles for restrooms, we get the doors you can just push open so I just use my feet .

Oh, wow. I ALWAYS wash my hands, even after using my own bathroom. ALWAYS.

I think it is actually cleaner to wash your hands before doing your business, i know i don't wii on my own hands so it is more hygenic to have clean hands when touching my you know what which is clean as it doesn't touch anything because it is confined to my pants. It makes sense to me. If you are really consious about hygene then wash them before and after

Uh....yea! I always wash my hands after using a restroom (and my bathroom for that matter). I find it very disgusting when I walk into a restroom to do my business, and I see people finishing up using the urinals and just exit the restroom without washing their hands. Especially if it's someone I know. I never like it when I have to stop and think, "Oh crap..... didn't I shake my hands with that guy this morning?!"
A message to all those who hesitate to wash their hands whether it be after using the restroom or if you have sweaty/sticky hands: PLEASE, JUST DO IT! >.< Besides, if you have a girlfriend or like someone and you have a guy friend who is close to her (as a friend), you don't want him mentioning that you don't wash your hands after using the restroom (or her asking him if you do or not).....just saying...

Off course i wash my hands, also when I'm going to a non-public restroom, so definitely in a public one.

So does this mean none of you want to come over and use my controllers?

Call me crazy, but I wash the Wii remote jackets once a week, and every time after guests use them.

Naw, not really. You're just cautious. I don't blame you. If I had people with even remotely questionable hygiene using my controllers, I'd wash them, too. As it is, I very rarely have ANYONE come over and use my controllers, so it's usually a moot point.

Can't help people from sneezing and coughing. And I'm not gonna deny anyone the occasional nose-pickin' either. It happens, right? But I'm not the germ police with bottles of antibacterial lotion in every room, so I just gather up the jackets and give 'em a quick scrub-scrub-scrub - all done! Keeps 'em nice and grippy, too!

I don't use those stupid Wiimote jackets; just can't stand them. To be honest, I don't live in the cleanest house ever (far, FAR from it), so I'm not anything even REMOTELY like a germaphobe. If I thought someone was using my controllers without washing their hands in the bathroom, I'd probably wipe the controllers off, though.
