Do you get trade in your games once you've beaten the single play mode? I mean, im starting to think about doing it, because even tho i have great games like galaxy, corruption (which i refuse to part ways with), and okami, and Twilight princess, now that ive beaten them they probably wont get played again most likely since theres nothing left to do. If you were me, would you trade in these great single player games once they're beaten or would you keep them as your accomplishment or something?

If you never plan on playing them again EVER and you are not a collector I say go for it. I don't trade hardly anything in, its a rip off most of the time. I just sell games to friends cheaper than gamestop used

If you're going to sell your games, avoid Gamestop at all costs.....you can get up to twice as much if you go on Craigslist or sell it to a friend.

It depends on the game. Galaxy is a legendary game that you're probably going to want to play 10 years from now just for fun, so I'd keep it if I were you.

No. NEVER. I keep all my games. I'm a gamer first but I'm also a collector. The only games I sell are ones I LOATHE. The Gameboy was an exception to this. I was only 14 or something, and I didn't have any idea that when I was 21 I would be even more obsessed with video games. The only games I've ever sold are Top Gun: Combat Zones for GCN and Alone in the Dark for Wii.

If I have an emotional attachment to them, no. There's a reason I've kept these Pokemon games for so long. If I don't care about it, why not? It probably sucks anyway!

I am not emotionally attached to any game. I enjoy money more than shelf decorations. I only keep games that I am going to play again, and the longer the game is, the less likely that is to happen.

I use to. The most major trade I did was all of my Wii games (25) for a Xbox 360 and a few games. I did as I mainly used my wii for downloadable games and that my disc drive was broken and my Wii was out of warranty.

If I see no replay value I trade them on. And by replay value I mean I enjoyed the game enough to want to play it again; not to get some kind of virtual tropy or badge.

Depends. I don't sell many games very often. If it's a game that doesn't pan out for me and I know I'll likely never come back to it again, I'll sell it on ebay and use the money for more games.

Plain old gamer :)

If it's quality I keep, if it's crud I'll get rid. This leads to a collection of good and great games and no filler, and when I say collection I don't mean the dorky sort. Trading might be seen as bad for the market, but it's great for us gamers.

Whatever you do, DON'T TRADE IN TWILIGHT PRINCESS!
I had that game, beat it, traded it in, and I really regret it now....

I had Twilight Princess, installed the Homebrew Channel with it, played it, finished it and traded it in -- NO REGRETS!

I've still got Pokemon Blue. Some games you just can't trade in.

Do you still have the homebrew channel after all of those Wii channel updates?

I never by a bad game but in college I sold a ton for beer money And I always used to trade in my systems to get the next/newest system that was coming out...I regret that now because more than just collecting, I want to play just about every game I've gotten rid of...and I do play them...so now with the newer systems, even if I think I've done it all, I still keep it because I may pick it up when the urge to play it comes. I mean, I would have traded Dawn of Sorrow in the week I beat it and I'm glad I didn't because I keep going back and playing it even after 100% completion. Same goes for Res. Evil 4 and 5. Every time I beat it, I think there's no way I'm going to play it again but thankfully I don't sell it because I always do.

I always keep them. There are always these games I wanna play again.

Yep, and it still works. I put every update on vanilla. If Nintendo wants to scrub HBC off my system I'm cool. I'll just sell my Midway Arcade Treasures and play Defender on MAME!

Some games can rise dramatically in value as they get older...such as the original SNES carts for the Final Fantasy games
