Topic: Do you think the NintendoLife guys should do a weekly podcast?

In light of the fact that a number of gaming websites do weekly podcast in order to lay out there thoughts on the news of the last seven days,.....and after watching the NL reaction video to the New 3DS, it kinda came to me that these guys should try doing a weekly podcast.

I think the NL staff is probably one of the most knowledgable in regards to all thing Nintendo, not only do they follow the news on a daily basis, but they review every damn game for both the 3DS and the Wii U, from your Super Mario 3D Worlds to the most obscure DSI shovelware.

What do you think?

I am not a fan of podcasts so I would not listen to it if they did. And as you mention, it seems they are busy enough to come up with extra work that they know not everyone may check on.

I see your point, but if you look at sites like IGN and Gamespot, regardless of what you may think of them, podcast specific shows on a individual platform are one of the most popular features, and with a tight knit community like NL, they may resonate.

I think the main problem is that there's not that many Nintendo news every week to talk about... Maybe it would work if the podcast was around one hour at least?

Should they? Yes obviously.

A bi-weekly or monthly podcast might be better, if anything. But I wouldn't want to see them do a podcast just to meet demands, they should also have fun while doing it.

And yet, I'd never even tune in. Podcasts were never my thing.

Don't care for them, so...meh.

The existence of the youtube channel GameXplain seems to contradict that theory! Their entire channel is based on discussing nintendo games.

I don't know about podcasts, But I would really love it if they can do something like comic gags or maybe let's plays about some cool Nintendo history. If they are already doing this, sorry my bad.
