I remember there were some layoffs, but yeah, of course Valve is doing well. People are paying them to put their games on their store, and I'm sure they get even a miniscule amount from sales. Plus they only have to release a game once in a blue moon, which then becomes a cash cow for years to come. I highly doubt Valve themselves will be the first to suffer. I'm more worried about everyone else.

Based on what data exactly? The only support I see is from 2011

Current games: Everything on Switch

I wouldn't say no to free games if there was no downside to it, of course.

The PS+ games aren't free though.. Since they're included in PS+.. Which is a service you pay for. I'm assuming the question is if I would like a PS+ service from Nintendo? No, I would not. I do not want to pay to play online.

You obviously didn't read my original post. I wasn't asking if Nintendo should have a paid online service but rather should Nintendo add a free game once a month. I understand that if you download a game free from XBLA or PSN+ once you memebership runs out you can't play the game and iirc correctly if you lose XBL Gold you still can play the games you downloaded previously.

Valve's finances are private, so speculation is pretty much all we can do is speculate. In February 2013 some employees were fired, but that the last time anything negative about their finances was released. According to Max Schaefer, CEO of Runic games and cofounder of Blizzard North, they get ~$14 back for the sale of a $20 game on steam, whereas if they sold it at Walmart they'd get ~$3.50 back. He goes to day it's a 70/30 split working with Steam, which means when it goes on sale 75% off on Steam they get $3.50, the same amount of money they'd get if it weren't on sale at Walmart.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.
