No worries, Fox. Even if you do, no one'll tell you to your face.
The Luger. That is awesome. As an officer's piece, was it branded or customized or engraved in any way?

@DaDun: I'm toting the MK4 Deatomizer and the shotgun through Mission 8. Nice.

It has markings for the Hitlers Youth. I don't know if he was someone raised in that enviroment or he was a recruiter, but the officer was involved in some way. I always display it with the markings facing the wall, though, so people don't get the wrong idea about me.

@The Fox: People will judge for themselves the rights and wrongs of this world. And that whole movement was an awful chapter, to be sure. But history itself is agnostic, and you own a piece of it. That's something special.

I do own a Glock 27 "Baby .40" pistol. I use it for target shooting on those rare occasions when we get to go to the indoor shooting range. Oh and I would like to have a Noisy Cricket as well.

What town do you live in, corbie? BTW, on facebook ( I don't have an account) I searched for you, dazza, and damo, and you all look a lot different than I expected. Especially you, corbie.

Gun? Why would I own a gun? I'd be crazy to own a gun! It's an instrument of death! I don't want to kill anyone!

It scares the crap out of me how casual American's are about guns, hasn't the odd high school massacre made you think twice about making them readily available. And no I don't need a gun to defend myself, before anyone says that's what they're for. Having a gun in your home seems like a really silly thing to do, as you may end up having it turned against you. I'm very grateful guns are not the norm over here, yet i fear the day they are.

I had a spud gun when I was a kid, it rocked!

I own more guns than most, and yet I still support strict controls over whom can get them. I don't want them banned, but they're not toys. There needs to be more oversight on who can get one. The problem, of course, is that frequently shootings occur with people who obtain one illegally or take one from friends/family. The problem is more complex than it seems. Guns have been part of American culture since the beginning, and those whom quickly judge aren't likely to see the whole picture.

Well I tried to purposely look different. The plastic surgery worked wonders. And I live in the Midland/Odessa area.

I know you're totally right, I just always feel the need to hastily explain when I have someone in my house and they see the symbols on the handle.

Back @The Fox: If it's any easier, you can compare it to hunter's trophy. Only instead of bringing back the bastard's head, your grandfather brought back his sidearm. Good for him!

I do not own a gun and yes I am an American. I have only shot a gun once. For some reason guns outside of an FPS have never really appealed to me.

I love guns. Mostly handguns. Right now I only have a Walther P22, but I really want to get a Walther P38 and a Mauser C96 "Broomhandle"

People who are scared of guns and think they should be banned are just ignorant. Guns don't kill people; people kill people.

@The Fox: I realise that, and understand that in the old days, it WAS to defend your home and cattle. But now? It just exacerbates the whole issue. And to prove my point... I HATE guns, but if I lived over there I'd own one, but only cos' everybody else does. No-win situation!

Sorry but in what way are they ignorant? I don't get it. So if people kill people then why does america have the highest gun crime in the world per capita? What you think thats coincidence? Owning guns means that people get killed in situations where they normally wouldn't, its all too easy in a split second to pull the trigger without thinking of the consequences. If you didn't have a gun by your side then this wouldn't happen. Sure you may have a fight but it's unlikely to end in death. I think it's hard for us europeans to understand American gun culture as I know that it is a big part of your history but if you can not see the harm that they do then it is you who is the ignorant one.

What's this bit for again?
