Topic: Do teens text, play video games, watch tv, work on the computer and listen to music to much?

Texting, using the laptop, playing video games, watching tv, and listening to music are used a lot by teens and young adults. Do you guys think young people use these things to much and never put them down?

I know for myself I won't stop using the computer, playing video games, watching tv and listening to music till I'm so sick I'm vomiting and have a terrible headache at the sametime, and I'm not jking I really do this. Also I stay up to like 3am doing the things I named off. So I know Its true for me. Its like its a addiction for me. One day I stayed up watching tv for 2 days non-stop I did not go to bed till the 3rd day, and I'm serious! I know it sounds crazy.

Some people take it too far, some don't. There's no general ruling on it. Some people I know balance going outside, hanging out with friends, schoolwork, and electronics well, while some other kids I know stay inside all day and never get anything done. When it gets to your level though, I think you should talk to your parents or doctor about it.

I agree. Teens text waaaaaaaay too much! Gaming is okay, though.

And I just started middle school, so Im not even considered a teen just yet. Wow.
