Topic: Do any of you have random unrelated thoughts constantly running through your minds.

When I talk to people, I have a tendency to change the subject to something completely different and yet I find it odd when other people do (which is rare). I guess you could say my mind is like a Pachinko machine: the ball being dropped in is my thought and each peg is like a trigger to a new thought. Sometimes it really drives me crazy. Does anyone else have this problem?

It's not even close to Halloween yet. I haven't started looking for one.

I can always carry on a strong conversation. But when I'm not focusing on one topic, my thoughts are a jumbled mess! But I'm sure it's normal, nothing's ever really abnormal.

I have this all the time, coupled with racing thoughts. When my girlfriend asks me "what are you thinking?" I can rarely say, since I can not type that fast.

I have a repertoire of "conversation stoppers" where I intentially divert a conversation when it's either gone horribly wrong or I've been bored to tears. I try to use the ones that are the most irrelevent to what we're discussing. Rude? Maybe. But I'm all for a bit of hilarity.

Don't freak out. I have suicidal moments during some of the strangest times. Sometimes, I'm driving and a thought will pop into my head to run off the road and sometimes I'm washing dishes and whenever I wash a knife, I think of slitting my wrists. The thing is though, I'm not even depressed, I'm really happy with my life. When I told my girlfriend, she said I probably just have morbid thoughts running through my head all the time. Stupid dishes...
