Sorry if this thread was made before (if it was, it was probably in 2009) but I actually saw this movie for the first time the other day, and I have to say it was one of the best, if not the best, Pixar movies I have ever seen. Which is kind of funny, because it was a movie that I wasn't interested at all in seeing from the previews. It had great characters that I actually cared about and had a very emotional and funny story. And to top it all off, it had a talking dog lol.
It's my third favorite Pixar film (Wall-E first, Toy Story 3 second), but I agree, it was an amazing movie. I want a Grape Soda pin >_>
But don't say Disney/Pixar. Disney doesn't do anything. They basically just do the marketing and some funding. Otherwise Pixar makes the movies completely independently. It would be like the Bit. Trip games. Gaijin Games makes the games all on their own, and Aksys does advertising, and paperwork junk. I dunno, it bugs me when people refer to Pixar films as Disney movies, because they aren't. You want Disney, try The Princess and the Frog (which I actually want to see incidentally).
I know that Disney really isn't involved with the Pixar movies. I only put "Disney/Pixar" in the thread title, in the post I just said Pixar. Disney movies just aren't as good as they used to be. Frankly, after they started doing direct to video sequals, I lost a lot of respect for them. Did we really need a Cinderella 2? Shameless cash-ins...
Yeah Up surprised me too. The only reason I bought it was because my son wanted it for his birthday so I got it for him. After Wall-E, I was kinda disappointed by Pixar and than I saw the previews for Up and I thought that was it Pixar lost their magic. I am glad that I was wrong though. Of course I still think Cars was the best Pixar movie but I havent seen Toy Story 3 yet.

Yeah, Up is definetely one of my favorite Pixar Movies, along with Finding Nemo, The Incredibles (interestingly a movie I never wanted to see based on the previews), and Toy Story 3.
"Oooh, yes I said it! I said it! I said it 'cause I caaan!" My Backloggery
Up was fantastic. It was a great blend of adventure, drama, and comedy. In fact, this might be my favorite Pixar movie (sorry, Monsters, Inc.)! Oh, and SQUIRREL!
