@SeanAaron Sorry, but thankfully Nintendo will never make that happen!
Space Pirates can take link out from long distance, and his tunic is not very good against lazers! The games have many in common, but the graphical designs and logics of the worlds don't match
How about the space pirates attack Hyrule, and Ganon takes command. They capture Zelda, and Samus is after the space pirates, so she teams up with Link to take them down? I could see that happening.
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Works for me, but how do the Space Pirates get there? Or are you saying the planet Hyrule is on is just some technological backwater in the Metroid universe...
I've always thought that Halo and Metroid would almost fit perfectly togother, universes are very much the same and both make good FPS games. It would be quite interesting in my opinion. Samus and Master Cheif fighting Ridley sounds great!

They have space ships and stuff like that, right? They land on whatever planet Hyrule is on, trying to take over, I guess. I always thought that the games didn't have their own universe, they were all apart of the same Nintendo universe.

I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.
A Legend of Zelda and Castlevania crossover would be an epic win for the ages IMO.

I really hate to say this, but I... I agree with Pin... No, I can't say it, even though it's true. Futuristic science-fiction and medieval fantasy do not mix without the most laughable results. I would not mind seeing a futuristic Zelda. No world can stay in one time period forever. But to just plop one character entirely out of his domain for the sake of a crossover would be too goofy and forced. Hyrule would need to evolve first before the two could meet without the majority of fans scoffing.
Then maybe Link should have his own varia suit Oh, and just so you know, pink link, I'm always either 110%, or percent. Percentful works I guess, but just know that I'm not 0%.

1. 360º environments. 2. Characters created by various people (including myself). 3. A story mode with cutscenes that use the actual backgrounds and character models (kind of like the Japanese version of One Piece: Grand Battle).
isnt legend of zelda in like the medieval era and metriod is in some futuristic time? the only way to make it work is if link went to the future or if samus went back in time
But in all seriousness, its hard to mash 2 good serieses together (ie mario+zelda), so i think it would be better to mash 2 less well know/awesome serieses together... maybe... Paper mario's paperosity (definatly not a word) in the first 2 paper marios+ basicaly anything could be a good start.. being all thin and flimsy is a good setting for 3-d world + rpg goodness
