You can open it easy with out ruining it. Take some siccsors, and there's a piece of tape on the frond end. You just need to carefully slice that piece of tape, then you can open the box with ease and no ruining it.
Just got my Mario figurine in the mail. I was freaked out for a bit, I had just ordered some stuff on Ebay last night and I was like, "WTF? It's already here?" then I remembered the figurine was coming. I think my mom likes it the most, she already put it in her curio cabinet and as a joke I said, "I figured you'd like it, Merry Christmas" and she was happy. I told her I was joking and she said, "Can I still keep it in the cabinet?".

Mine should be getting here any second now. I'm going to leave mine sealed in the box and sell it on eBay. I hope the platinum reward is something I actually want next year.

Got my messenger bag today too. I added a scented fabric sheet in an attempt to eliminate the vinegar smell otherwise, it's very nice for a college book bag.

Also about it being used as a laptop bag, I think mine's too big for it.
I messaged whoever works at Club Nintendo about my concern with the 8 Bit Mario DS cases. They replied saying there taking (putting them back online) that into consideration.
I got a confirmation e-mail yesterday telling me that my figurine has been shipped, so I expect it'll be here early next week...
