Hello there im writing this to express a problem, yesterday i sent an email to club nintendo asking them if they could check if some of my club nintendo codes were used or i could still use them they responded me telling me that they deactivated my account....for living in mexico!? i have been using this account since 2011 to reedeem download codes gained from my coins of games that i bought from them! and i think this is not fair here is what they responded me:
Hello,
Thanks for getting in touch with us, and we really appreciate your patience. We've received a lot of emails recently, and we're composing responses as quickly as possible. While I'd like to help you with those Club Nintendo PIN codes, I have some unfortunate news.
Club.Nintendo.com is intended for residents of the United States and Canada. As you mentioned in your past emails that you live in Mexico, we deactivated your Club Nintendo account.
This was necessary because the privacy laws in the Club Nintendo privacy policy are intended to meet the laws and regulations of the United States and Canada, which may not be the same as in Mexico. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and I know this may disappoint you to not be able to participate in Club Nintendo, but I truly appreciate your understanding.
You're not allowed to use Club Nintendo if you don't live in the US or Canada. Simple as that.
As for its fairness, I will admit it's a little harsh, but you did agree to the terms when you created the account.

Privacy policies are bound by laws in each country. Therefore if you don't live in said countries, then you are not eligible to receive services. It's a harsh reality.

Perhaps you should re-read that email, it was clearly stated that you broke the terms of your account. Sure it was a little harsh, but unfortunately you brought it on yourself for telling them where you live. You can always set up a new account with a different email address to keep using Club Nintendo, but you'll have to start from scratch.

well i told them in past emails where i lived because i had a problem with an eshop card but never directly in this email but anyway sigh fortunately i wasted all of my coins yesterday.
They're actually immensely jealous of your tacos and tequila.

It clearly states for US and Canada residents only. It doesn't matter that the let you slip by for this long, the fact is that you were ineligible from day one. And quite frankly it sounds like you knew that and signed up anyway so it really sounds to me that you are mad that you got caught.

I feel your pain buddy, I'm a British but I live in Denmark. My account is based in the UK, I buy most of my games from the UK... However, I've missed out on so many promotions because of purchasing games in Denmark and not getting Club Nintendo points...
Their customer service is really strict on TOC, even though I had proof I bought 2 of the 3 games for last years 'free 3DS game' promotion in the UK, and a recite for the one I bought in Denmark (Luigi's Mansion), they didn't care at all :/

If you're going to commit fraud, don't talk about it with the organization you're cheating.
Yes, it wasn't thoughtlessness on his part, it was FRAUD. He was CHEATING them. Throw the louse in jail!
Please.
Anyway, it's unfortunate, but they didn't have much of a choice. They have to abide by a nation's laws. Moreover, as others have said, it has been clearly stated that the owner of an American (I'm assuming it was American) Club Nintendo account needs to live in America. Glad you spent your coins before it happened.
Maybe you can ask family from America to host your Club Nintendo operations. That is, IF you have family in America. ¡Viva Mexico!
CN doesn't really allow that either (if they find out the one providing the codes and /or keeping the freebies is not living in the US, they'll close the account regardless of who manages it). The only real course of action is to lie about your location and keep shut about it.
Of course, having family in the US and asking for their permission is the best way to do it.
and that's why I don't even bother trying to get a club Nintendo account(I live in Brazil it's not even in NA)

Well telling them you live in Mexico when they only cover the US and Canada would be the glaringly obvious problem here, next time don't tell the company you're trying to trick that you're tricking them and keep quite.
