The chicks are looking good.

Samus looks like she is wearing a red power suit. She took off her helmet so you can see her blonde head.
I bet you're having to hold Moltres because she kept running around.

So we having a bbq with them or what?

Absolutely! They love a good BBQ. And I've also heard they are particularly fond of turtle soup.

Am I the only other person on here that has had chickens? Well, anyway, chickens are really fun to have, and we should be getting them in the mail in a few weeks. Oh yeah, we had chickens last year, we lost two to a hawk, one to a dog, and the rest (nine, we had twelve in total) to a (methinks) coyote. My cousins have chickens too, and a two years or so ago they had a rooster, and he kept on pecking my little cousin, so of course he went and shot the rooster. And this year they had two roosters, and they kept fighting each other, and one of the roosters killed the other, so my cousins shot the remaining rooster.
So, children, the moral of these stories is do not get a rooster (ESPECIALLY TWO)

Wow, a fellow chicken person on here? Honestly thought I was the only one. I myself am all too familiar with predators. Last time I had a flock three (out of six) were taken by coons. But now where I live my neighbor on one side has killed numerous coons and possums, and the other is a deer hunter. But even then I hear coyotes, so I'm planning on making the coop a freaking fortress to keep my girls safe. As for roosters, I did have one. He was one of four that I got to replace the lost birds from the coon attack. A crested Polish (poofy headed breed like Lucina), he was a very nice fellow. Would always give me a specific happy crow whenever I came outside.

I have chickens too. The funny thing is, all their names begin with Z's.
Another funny thing is, that whenever you go near them, they will squat for you. It's kinda cute.

Do you truly look at things positively? For example, do you look at the glass like it's always full? (Half water, half air.) Or when someone "lets the cat out of the bag," do you think it's because the person felt sorry for the cat stuck in the bag? There is a positive side to almost everythin...

My first flock of chickens (when I was around 5-6) did the same thing. Now I realize why. There wasn't a rooster around... Yeah you can figure out what I mean...

You have chickens? So jealous, my HOA won't let us keep anything like that

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

@SkywardLink98 I never thought I'd see the day when someone would tell me they're jealous that I have chickens and they don't, let alone on a gaming website forum!

@WingedFish Well, I'm from the future and we destroyed most forms of life there so I'm into pets. And I'm kinda weird.

Right, and I accidently walked into a strange science experiment and can now control all forms of plant life and use solar energy. At least the FanFiction version of myself can anyway...

Day 57. Today is an extra special update. Videos!

They don't live outside permanently as of yet, but they do spend most of the day in the coop run until nighttime when I take them back in the basement.
Apparently Peach is curious about the camera.

Obviously the coop isn't going to stay right next to the house. As much as I love my girls, they don't exactly smell like roses...

At least you can eat chicken eggs. My roommates manage quails rather than chickens, whom are apparently adjacent to the wall where my bedroom is. Their eggs are pretty small, although I think they can lay more eggs.

Drat, not sure why one of the videos isn't working. Anyway, forgot to write down the developmental notes.

As you can see, they have all (excluding Moltres, but she's catching up) taking on the appearance of miniature adults barring a few remaining baby down feathers on the head and neck. They've still got a while still before the chirps start turning into clucks, but it shouldn't be too long now. And apparently Zelda is pretty darn bold. Whenever the family dog (a very obnoxious but nonetheless lovable German Shepherd named Phoebe) runs around their pen and spooks them, she just stands there staring Phoebe right in the face. It's kinda funny.

We just got our chicks in the mail today, but sadly two of them died (methinks) of dehydration. They are so cute!

It appears Zelda got the Triforce of Courage instead of the Triforce of Wisdom.
