@Ideal_Hero It's a bit too early to tell, but I have noticed that Lucina and Peach are slightly more friendly then the rest. Other then that it'll be a little while till their distinct personalities surface.
Day 5 Yeah I know I missed a day, but I haven't been feeling too good lately which is why I didn't manage to get a picture yesterday.
Bottom far left: Viridi
Above right of Viridi: Peach
Center: Zelda
Above Zelda: Lucina
The wing feathers are very apparent now, plus the first signs of tail feathers are starting to appear.
A close up of Lucina's wing.
By the way, I've still to name the other four birds. Any suggestions?

Day 7. In about a week the girls (what I call them by collectively) will be ready for their first adventure in the outside world, maybe sooner if there is a really nice warm day during the week.
Top center: Zelda
Center: Peach
Bottom center: Midna
Bottom right: Samus (it was inevitable that one of then would get that name)
Left top: Lucina
Below Lucina: Viridi
Only two birds left to name now!

How about Ruto, Malon, or Saria

How 'bout no? Flicky or Plucky, how does that sound?
Day 8. Yesterday (right now is day 9, didn't take one today) the girls have had their first outdoor excursion. It was quite nice. The circle is a plate of water by the way.
Peach is a bad influence apparently. She kept trying to squeeze through the "fence" and get out as you can see in the picture below. Yet oddly she was at the side I was sitting in front of. Suppose that's a good thing as it means she isn't fearful of me. Next thing I knew though, Viridi and Samus tried to follow her example. Oh well.
Also today they had a delicious treat; live earthworms and wood beetles. Yum.
Oh, and as for your suggestions, I don't think Flicky or Plucky is what I'm looking for @Starman-Super, sorry. Anyway, the final two are still awaiting names, however please keep in mind I'm trying to give them all Nintendo girl names.
@Retro_on_theGo I like to call them pets with benefits. They'll give us eggs, plus they made great biological food recyclers. If there is old stuff in the fridge, I give it to them into of tossing it out with the trash. They get a treat and you don't waste food since it goes into making more eggs. That, and I just like having them. I am a bird person after all.

Day 13. I've missed quite a few days... Just haven't been able to find the time. Anyway, this is their second visit outside.
For the picture below, left to right: Viridi, Samus, Emmeryn, Lucina, Peach, to be named, Midna, and Zelda (bottom left corner).
A close up of Lucina. Notice how her crest has fluffed up and is starting to fall over her face.
The last chick to be named. She is the smallest since she isn't growing as fast, perhaps due to her possibly being a late bloomer. But health-wise she's perfectly fine. Still not sure what she should be called...
Developmental notes: They have officially gone into the awkward "teenage" phase as you can see by the spread of adult feathering. The combs (the red fleshy stuff on top of the beak) are now fully visible, they are now very good at jumping, and are testing out their wings, which are more or less fully feathered.

Day 51 (man I've missed over a month!).
To make up for missed pictures, I've taken individual ones for each bird.
Midna. She is apparently not the breed she is supposed to be. The breed I ordered was supposed to have all black feathers, while she clearly has white barring. I speculate she is the same breed as Zelda, or something similar. But I don't mind either way.
Zelda. She can be told apart from Midna by the lack of a large black spot on her beak.
Samus.
Peach.
Lucina. My personal favorite. With the exception of a long white patch on her chest, she now has the appearance of a full grown adult.
Moltres, or Tres or Tresy for short (pronounced trace(y)). She's still behind in terms of growth, but makes up for her lack of size with speed and tenacity. In fact she is the swiftest of the flock, which I why I had to hold her down in order to get a clear picture!
Emmeryn. Possibly the loudest of the group. Ironic since the person she's named after is quiet and soft spoken.
Viridi. My mom's favorite and one of the calmest while being held. She has this odd behavior that whenever she grabs an earthworm (I offer some as treats from time to time) she runs and jumps around like she's in a panic. And to think she's named after a certain Goddess of Nature...
This is the makeshift pen they have moved to after outgrowing the dog cage. Man the basement is so freaking messy eight now...
And finally, the coop that just came in today, which will become their permanent home. Though by the time they do it will be moved to the edge of the woods in my backyard, and the run (the fenced in outdoor area) will be expanded.
Whew, took a while to upload all of that! But I know at least some of you like this thread, so I hope you enjoy.
